hmmmm ...maybe later

I doubt it. Apparently this is too controversial a topic for people to be allowed to comment about it. What a bunch of chopf##ks they are at the Washington Post.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I gotta say, VJers are coming across as a tetchy and defensive group.

Sounds about right. ;)

How does this 'raising awareness' help any of us?

Are the WP readers gonna storm the USCIS buildings and demand faster processing? Cos the way I see it, it was a good article for people who are looking for a place like VJ...but as to our individual posters here, it does really nothing but invite scorn and ridicule.

I don't think it brought any sympathy or support for U.S. Wendy...cos the 'general population' will read '17 year age difference and he's from a Middle Eastern country' and you all know what they're thinking.

Trying to defend & justify something as personal as a choice in a mate is something that doesn't need to be done....but when one does it, it looks like one is grasping for straws.

wow the stupidity of these people who are leaving those comments is shocking. seriously they should know all about the laws and such before they make comments they think to be true. it's more complicated than they break it down in their closed minds.

Gosh, not a bad article. Kudos to Wendy and others for bringing it to the attention of the newspaper. Pity about the ignorant and hateful comments but will never be able to convince some people in America that marriages to immigrants can be as real as their relationships... stupid people.

I did get pissed when I read that we are naive and this is a website full of lovey whatever that ####### wrote... This is a informative website to help people with alot of the inaccurate information often given by the USCIS staff.

Proud to be a immigrant wife and V'Jer!
