You guys just reminded me that it's time for my oil change. lol.

I just called my Rheumatologist and the office manager agreed to write the letter!:dance: As soon as I get it I can send it to my congressman's office and they'll forward it all to Cairo. I hope and pray this does the trick because I'm starting to get sad at the thought of hosting Thanksgiving without him. :(

You know, I know nothing about farming but my brother is selling his home and moving to North Carolina in a few months to start up a vineyard. I never knew they even had vineyards in North Carolina. I wonder if running a vineyard is easier than running a farm with the chickens the cows, the sheep, et al.

Good luck with the letter Doodle!

You know with a farm you could have JUST cows. Or just chickens. There's a farm pretty close to me that has just cows and bison! It's pretty cool to drive by and see them wandering around the field. And that farm has awesome ice cream. :D though today it's too cold to be thinking about that

Amera--I keep saying I'm done w/ my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am but considering I keep sinking so much money into it (it took $2500 to fix in May) AND I still owe $6000 on it I keep thinking it's such a waste to spend so much just to buy a used car with all new problems when my current car isn't even worth what I owe anymore! (It has like 103,000 miles and for its age should only have about 68,000-80,000....) Ramy keeps telling me to get rid of it before it really screws me but it already has...:bonk:

At least the car looks fabulous. So when its sitting dead in my driveway a couple months from now it won't be much of an eyesore. lol

Divorced. To hell with him.

Red Sox won the world series!

I'm dragging today and need an iv of coffee since I stayed up to watch the game.

My husband wants to run a farm when he gets here.

 why?

He wants to never worry about food. I told him I'm not touching any cow udders. :P

Doodle: Has he had a farm or even a garden before? I think Charles is onto something with the weeds.

Charles: You are just upset because Monday interrupted your birthday celebration. :P

Jackie: Nice texting with you over the weekend. Maybe this time we can start on Saturday and actually get somewhere!

Yassmine: WHAT penance??

Sparrow: Your day is fast approaching for your fiance's arrival. I was just talking with my husband about the day he arrived here, and all that happened on this end while waiting for him to clear all the check points. I was working (yeah right :innocent: ) but tracking his flights, and waiting for the phone to ring with a NY area code to know he had cleared customs. We have large wind chimes in the office we ring for any kind of celebration. I promptly jumped up and rang those suckers like never before (I think they just recently recovered  ) knowing that he was finally safely on american soil. That is a much better memory than AP. :crying:

Omar finally hemmed the pants we bought last weekend so got to wear them to work. He just has one more to finish tonight and then I"m set....to go and buy more clothes next weekend so he can do it again.

On top of being really upset and pissed, when I tried to call my SO the conection was bad and he was in an echoing space before it cut out and the phone was out of service :crying:

I hope all the rest of ya'll are having a good Monday! (F) And that your cars keep working ;)

Actually, we have several vineyards here. He will love North Carolina. It's a wonderful place to live. :)

Today is our one month wedding anniversary. I can't seem to get settled into a routine. I had it down pat before the wedding and for some odd reason I can't seem to get into the swing of things.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.
