I just wanted to introduce ourselves. We are new here.

Our names are Stephanie and Wes. Wes lives in the United States and I am a german citizen. We have been married since April 11th 2007, but have met originally in late 2000.

We have been together ever since and even have a 3 year old daughter named Zoe together. The sunshine of our lifes.

I studied and was married prior to this marriage in the United States, but after almost 8 years in a very emotional abusive marriage I was divorced with the help of my now husband Wes.

We have lived together since the year 2003 near Atlanta Georgia, had a child and finally after a long time away from home (2002) we all went on a trip back to visit family in Germany.

At the return at the Atlanta airport I was not let in the United States, because I did not report my first divorce to the USCIS.

I had to return to Germany and my family (husband and daughter both us citizens) were allowed to enter the US.

Now being back after our marriage in April of this year ...I found out I am pregnant with our second child and we are waiting to have to go through the whole process of filing a I130 again with a 601 waiver coming in the process.

I am due today ....yippeee, but was unable to keep our daughter here with me because I had a very high risk pregancy and was bed bound with deep depression.

Our I130 was approved October 10th and now we are waiting for the next steps.

Does anybody have any experience with a extreme hardship waiver due to overstay in the United States?? Any advice?? We do can prove some hardship....father in law is very sick...has bone cancer and has an estimated 6 months to live and my husband is his only child and taking care of them.

We have 2 children.....almost

My husband has a stable job and was also in grad school before all of this happened and had to interrupt his education to take care of our daughter while I am here.....he also has a student loan.

Can anybody give us advice on how to handle the waiver that is our biggest concerns....none of us have a criminal record

I would love to hear about your stories ...exchange ideas and advice.

Steffi
