Got K3 wife and a huge package

My wife just got her passport back along with the K3 VISA and a big package. The package states that it must be opened at an US entry point. My question is, can I officially start the green card application process?? Or should/do we wait until I accompany her at and US entry location and open or hand this package to the customs???

She can't adjust her status until after she enters the US. She has no status to adjust. She's not a resident yet.

You cannot "open" the package. It will be taken from your wife when she enters the U.S. After her entry you will begin your next step of starting the adjustment of status (AOS) process toward her obtaining her green card, etc. Good luck with your journey.

That's correct. Your K3 application for your wife was to allow her to enter and establish domicile in the U.S., if you were going to live outside the U.S. there would have been no need to file the petition.
