Hello my name is Cherie. I haven't posted in awhile very sorry about that. I came back from my trip in egypt. It was so awesome meeting Usama for the first time we had so much fun. He met me at Cairo intl and we drove to alexandria. I met his family and friends they all were really nice. I stayed with him for a month and had the best time of my life no joke! Leaving was very hard but i can't wait to go back. Now i am trying to get our papers together to file for the K-1 visa and i forgot to have him write a letter of intent so i don't know what to do about that. Another thing is when we filled out the I-129 i did all the writing except for his signature and i don't know if that will be a problem. Anyway glad to see my family here in Alabama but wish i was back in Egypt that place is so cool, better than i imagined plus i never got sick from anything :) thanks for reading my post and please reply with any advice...Cherie&Usama (L)

I hand wrote everything on all forms for our fiance visa application and my husband only signed the Bio sheet (4 times), the letter of intent and the space where he writes out his name in Arabic on the 129.

Send him a scanned letter of intent (or writeon up qickly himself) and sign it and get it in the mail.

Glad you had a nice time. congratulatons on your engagement. (F)

Welcome back!

It's not a problem you filled out the forms and only had him sign, I did the same thing with my fiance and we were just fine. I'd have him mail you a letter of intent. :)

Divorced. To hell with him.

I'm glad you had such a great time!!

I am soo jealous since I only spent 5 days in Egypt total and haven't been able to afford to go back! I'm glad you loved it and his family loved you, that's soo important :)

Welcome back. Im going back mid/late January for my 3rd visit in a year. We meet every January and we want to Keep our "tradition". If anyone is interested Egypt Air has airfare from 820 round trip from New York in mid-late January. Would be glad to have travel buddy and/or share room in Maadi Hotel. (love the hotel) room rates would be from 15-35 a night for each of us. (Free local calls to..wooo hoooo) (our phone calls would drive someone NUTS though..lol) Anyways..room sharing certainly would make it cheaper for us...any takers???

Hi Cherie,

I think I talked you when you were a new member here and I am so glad to hear that you had a wonderful trip. Good luck with your journey!!!! (F)

Becky

Amrssnowangel,

I may be traveling at that time, but I am coming from Dallas and don't know if I will be coming through New York. I don't have things finalized yet, just in the planning stages. If it would work out I would love to travel there with you, but will be staying with my husband once there. There might be someone else looking to share room and board, but I would be a good travel buddy getting there!!! :)
