(I-864) question for the K-3 visa

Hi

my wife as set a intervied date for april 27, 2006 at the U.S. Embassy we have almost everything just need to settle my affidavit of support (I-864) issue this is for my son & wife well i only made $3,800 net income in 2005 i only worked 2 months well i dont qualify with my income but my household member made made $6,000 net income so together we still dont reach income requirements but my household member owns a property and she has like over 200k in equity can we use this to qualify? what else can we do to qualify? thanks for your time

Are you certain that it is the I-864 that you are required to file? K visas tend to require the I-134.

My wife receive package from the us embassy asking to bring I-864 for her k-3 visa interview i send an e-mail to the us embassy where shes having her interview and told me that for k-3 visa she needs to bring I-134 so now am confuse which do i fill out i can't call us embassy there on vacation becuase of the holidays they reopen on the 24th of this month so now what do i do?

Jan 5, 2006 packet iv from us embassy March 18, 2006 NVC requesting fee & 3032 (I-864)

March 8, 2006 Interview set for visa March 31, 2006 signed and mail 3032 discontnue

April 27, 2006 i postpone Interview to this date. the cr1 taking the k-3 route.

From what you have written the need for I-864 was connected with the NVC and the I-130. This is totally seperate to what is required for the K-3 (I-129F) interview. Then again I am somewhat confused by your post. Are you saying that you decided not to continue the provessing of the I-130 through the NVC and to stick with the K-3, and you also changed your interview date? Did your wife get package 3 as well? Have your wife check exactly what is required from what is listed in the package as it is very unusual and does not seem correct that she is required to have the I-864 for a K-3 interview. A choice, I have heard of happening but never a requirement to have the I-864.
