Am I the only one here with a recurring vision of Frances' cat and its dingleberry? :P

I know! I got a major visual on that too. :blink:

at least you guys didn't have to pick it up to throw it away.....eurgh! :wacko:

Rachel's fiance here. ;)

I only have one friend who has a girlfriend, and she often joins us when we go out. I don't consider it a big deal and it doesn't bother me - They make a good couple and I enjoy seeing them.

Rachel does get to go out with friends a lot more. I hardly ever go out because of my work schedule, and on my weekends I'm usually too tired to want to leave the house.

Yeah!!! Welcome, Rachel's fiance! ;)

Sometimes I find it hard to go out with my friends. They're all in couple. They're all friends. Sometimes when they talk about things they do together (like going out, ...) it makes me think "I can't do that with my fiance...". And there is always a moment when they ask "anything new for the visa?" and I say "No. we still have a few more months to wait before we hear anything new" and there's like a big long silence because nobody knows what to say.

One of the reasons I told no one at work (except my bff) and no casual friends that I was engaged and emigrating. The non-stop questions over a prolonged period of time would have been excruciating.
