Okay my Habibi is too old to be pulled in the army, but my friends fiance is 24 and left Tunisia before he was 18 and is now living in Italy. *go figure* Now her problem is that they are getting ready to start there visa process but now he is scared that if he goes back to Tunisia he will be pulled into the army and stuck there. Remember guys, when you leave your country and move to Italy its a whole different experience and most people love it casue I did. I wold live there the rest of my life but, I'll make more money and live comfortable here. Any whooo Anyone have some info on this one. it's a doozie**** OMG I said doozie.

If he's living in Italy, you can certainly file for him while he's in Italy and doesn't have to go back to Tunisia to wait for the visa process, there are various people who lives outside of their native countries and file successuflly there, The only hitch might be getting the police report of places you have lived in the past. I'll let other folks who actually went through that process give their own feedback.
