Hello, I just signed up to this site, but Ive been browsing through here,,its so nice to find a website like this,,,thought I was the only feeling helpless with USCIS. I sent my 129F on July 17, 2007 to Texas service center, then i recieved 1-797c NOA 1 , says on there recieved date july 20 and notice date july 27. it also shows it was sent to CSC.

My time line is like this: 3-03-05 Met online

10-02-05 Met for the 1st time, he flew to Mexico, I live close to the border and would visit daily

11-15-05 he returned to his hometown of Buenos Aires after a month and a half

03-19-06 I visited him in buenos aires for a month , met his family

01-12-07 went to buenos aires, planned to stay for 3 months

03-12-07 asked for an extension, stayed 3 more months in buenos aires

07-12-07 returned to Texas after 6 months spent with my love, cried all the way, knew we wouldnt

see each other for a long while

07-17-07 mailed 129F

07-27-07 NOA 1

10-26-07 going nuts,,,,,no news yet.

02-08 plan to go back to buenos aires...its hard not to see each other. promised we wouldnt let more than 6 months without seeing each other. but its difficult to make plans with all this paperwork pending. Adivise? do you think it s better to wait until he recieves and interview date to visit him? And do you think its better to go with him to the interview?

I guess just like everyone else,,,check my email, mail, uscis website, anything,,sometimes daily.

Hi and welcome, come join us in july filers thread. I wouldn't let the paperwork stop u from seeing each other. You still have time. From the petitioners end the next step is doing the affidavit of support which ur fiance will need for the interview. Good luck.

:yes:Thank you for the welcome, I appreciate it . Just wanna recommend Skype as a method to save $$$. My bf and I just started using it last week. works really well although we were doubtful. we talk everyday , so this is really gonna help. Also for phone cards ive used a this website www.uniontelecard.com its really good. For Argentina, i use megaclean and stable card. doesnt cheat you on minutes. what helps about this website, is that once you sign up, it keeps a record of all the cards you purchase, pin numbers etc. It could help with proof of frequent communication.

Hi, I dont know if this will help you but i just heard that starting in January Argentineans will not need a visa to come to the United States for turist porpuses. This was the case about 6 years or so ago and then they stoped it.

Hello! Yes we heard something like that , but thanks for reminding me because we had really not given it any thought since we had sent the application. but since things might be a little slower than usual, it might come in handy.
