Firing Attorney

Hi everyone...

First off, I want to say this is an awesome community and I wish I had found it before starting the K1 process. My fiance and I have received our second notice of action, and she is going to send in for the interview request tomorrow.

My issue is we hired an attorney who has been terrible, mispelling name, wrong birthdate, etc. I am going to fire her, but I need to know how to get all my documents from her. And how should I notify USCIS and NVC of the change, so all documementation goes to me.

I will update our profile this coming week, but I am trying to focus on taking care of these details now!

Hi...I don't have any information for you but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry about your attorney. I hope you both can move on from that and not let it put a damper on your NOA2 (congrats)

When I fired my attorney I had him send a letter to USCIS stating he would no longer represent me and all communication will come to me.

He didn't have any problem doing so as he knew I was more updated on the current immigration process than he was.

He sent back all the documents that he hadn't lost also!
