We've started thinking of shipping some of Rhosie's stuff here rather than buy new luggage (as money is getting tighter every day). Does anyone have any experience in shipping boxes to the US from the Phils with decent rates. If so, then where did you use? I'm trying to think of every option out there. Shipping. Getting new luggage............. We just gotta look at everything. Thanks everyone. Can't wait to hear from you.

my friend just brought 2 balikbayan boxes when she fly here to the US... (said filipinos are entitled to bring 2 boxes)... you could save that way somehow

4/15/2010- sent my N-400 via fedex overnight

4/16/2010- signed and delivered

4/29/2010- check cleared

When you are flying you can check in two (2) items with a total weight of 70 lb each for a total of 140 lbs. If they are over the weight then you will be charge more. If you have alot bring to the USA, you might want to contact DLA and see about shipping by boat to the USA, unless you want right way then you will pay a lot of money. Most company that ship boxes to the Philippines does not bring boxes back to the USA, because it is very costly and custom problems.
