Hello Everybody,

Im so screw!!! I dont know what to do.... please someone help me. I just got a letter from USCIS, asking for more informations about my sponsor (w-2s, 1099s, etc). When i send my i-864 form(Affidavit of Support) the only thing that my sponsor did not have was the w-2s forms they ARE ASKING FOR NOW. My quetion is since i can't get the w-2s form with my current sponsor can i send a new i-864 with another sponsor??

If you can have your current sponsor get tax transcipts from IRS if he doesn't have W2s.

You can send them in instead of W2s.

If you can have your current sponsor get tax transcipts from IRS if he doesn't have W2s.

You can send them in instead of W2s.

That did not work, cause i send the irs transcripts instead of the w-2s forms and they are now asking me for the w-2s.

Worked for me but my tax transcripts were for self employed [1099s]. Not much different than W2s.

You can get W2 copies but you have to order the entire 1040.

Seems easier than getting another sponsor.

Yep, get the 1040 as the PP just said. That's what I had to do.

Sometimes people confuse tax returns with tax transcripts. They are not the same thing. I've never heard of them rejecting a tax transcript. They actually prefer them to returns. Are you sure you know the difference and actually sent transcripts?
