Hi,

I had my medical done yesterday without packet 4. The lady at the counter asked me for my appointment letter which I didn't have since it has still not arrived yet. She called the embassy to confirm that my appointment was for Nov 9. She got back to me and told me that the embassy said sorry that the letter has not reached yet, probably due to the postal strike, and that they are mailing me another letter. Besides that the medical went smoothly. But I have a problem! I have moved recently and I am having all my mail redirected to my new address. I am wondering if the letter got lost in the mail. I am thinking about whether I should call the embassy and change my address. Can I do that this late in the process? I dont want any address change to cause any delays. What should I do?

Yes, you should have called the embassy to change your address when you moved. When you call, they will give you a code to put in the e-mail subject line. Give the old and new addresses and you case number in the e-mail.

Thanks for your reply but today I got my packet-4 through redirected mail. it was sent to me 9th of October and I got it right after 20days. Maybe it took so long because of postal strike
