I just called the court office and my clearance for my divorce is in!!! Now it's just up to 30 days and I'll have my divorce papers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOO!!!

June 10/04... K-1 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

July 31/04... Entered U.S.

Aug. 28/04... WEDDING DAY!!!!

Aug. 30/04... I-485, I-765 & I-131 sent to Seattle

Dec. 10/04... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport stamped)

Sept. 9/06... I-751 sent to NSC

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Sept. 13/07... N-400 sent to NSC

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

I remember when my paperwork came in.. my lawyer called and said.. oh yeah.. that silly paperwork we filed? Came in a month ago.. come by anytime and get your papers :) tee hee.

Man I loved that lawyer.. she was quite the cat!!

AOS:

2007-02-22: Sent AOS /EAD

2007-03-06 : NOA1 AOS /EAD

2007-03-28: Transferred to CSC

2007-05-17: EAD Card Production Ordered

2007-05-21: I485 Approved

2007-05-24: EAD Card Received

2007-06-01: Green Card Received!!

Removal of Conditions:

2009-02-27: Sent I-751

2009-03-07: NOA I-751

2009-03-31: Biometrics Appt. Hartford

2009-07-21: Touched (first time since biometrics) Perhaps address change?

2009-07-28: Approved at VSC

2009-08-25: Received card in the mail

Naturalization

2012-08-20: Submitted N-400

2013-01-18: Became Citizen

Man I loved that lawyer.. she was quite the cat!!

I know, what is up with that?? I had to call them..it's probably been sitting there since Monday or something...since I called a week ago and it wasn't in....sigh..it's not like the courthouse in my town is super busy..when we filed it was like a ghost town! LOL

Whatever, I'm just glad its in!!!

Congrats!!! You must feel relief!!

I think the 2 days I cried the most was when I got my interview date.....and when my husband's got his divorce paper and we could finally send the I-129f !!!!!!

Tee hee.. it's true.. I was glad she didnt make it a big deal.. i needed handling with kid gloves at that point..

I didn't allow her to serve the papers to my ex until AFTER Christmas - didn't want to ruin the holiday for his family.. so she was upset but she did beg me to be allowed to send the Sherriff to his house.. she even said "pretty please"??

I told her to go for it :) tee hee.

October 2006 - I-129F sent

10/24/2007 - INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!....APPROVED!!

10/30/2007 - Visa in hand!

AOS Timeline:

1/30/08 - Sent AOS pkg Priority Mail with USPS

3/12/08 - Biometrics taken

3/29/08 - EAD and AP in hand for me and my son

5/21/08 - Email-GC on its way!...RFE for my son's application

5/27/08 - GC arrives!!!

7/02/08 - Sons GC arrives!!!

ROC TIMELINE

3/23/10 - ROC sent!

3/29/10 - NOA1

4/22/10 - Biometrics Appt for me and my son

6/30/10 - Email saying card production ordered for me and my son

7/6/10 - Letter in the mail saying cards will arrive within 60 days

7/10/10 - Both cards received!
