I have the biggest case of the dont-want-tos this morning. Im soooo not into working. My boss just gave me a fistful of candy, which will be lovely because the baby's already a movin' and a shakin'. I think he might be part cat, he acts like he's about to pounce on something. He wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggles up and shoots across the womb. Lets see if mom can feel THIS one! LOL.

 Super Happy Friday  (not payday, so not 'super duper friday')

No work til 2pm-----double :dance::dance:

Ya'll are not going to believe what I did yesterday! A lady I work with belongs to Curves and she invited me to go. Well, my new motto in life is 'If you invited somewhere, go'. (just ask amal,,i do go ;) ) So I put on my workout clothes (had to buy special for this occaision) and we went last night. It was way cool  I worked out just about every part that hasn't moved in ages, and I am feeling it a little today. I can go free for 2 weeks. (but not today, I need a break...lol) Anybody else here go to Curves or a woman's workout place?

Make this day a special one for someone else, and you will also have a special day.

Last night I worked a charity event OMG the food was good! There were 26 of the best restaurants from the Miami area represented at this silent auction (the food was free ;) ). We all had small little "amouse bouche" (bite size appetizers :)) displays and wow was it good!! There were 3 of us from my hotel so we could wander around and taste all the food too :P

My station was dessert, which got hit up last, and I got to see all the others  So I was dancing to the music and serving good food all night! Doesn't get any better than that!! Oh yeah, and I got paid for it

Cheryl, I'm curious what got you into being a tattoo artist. I would LOVE to get a small discreet one, but Hicham is really against it. :(

Well this is a true story.. I bought a $49.95 no experance tattoo kit out of the back of a rock-n-roll magazine. And did 6 tattoos from that small kit. So after that I knew that is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I saved my money so I could buy all my tattooing equipment. Been tattooing for 17 years

Well I just got back from the congressman's office. I don't know what to feel. She gave me the talk about how it can take up to a year in administrative processing and how Cairo is understaffed, but I responded by telling her that I'm a member of a visa message board and that I know some who have interviewed after me and received their visas and some before me who's ap was only a few weeks. She said they're probably doing background checks then.

Anyhoo she took a copy of my noa2 letters and then when she found out that I have RA she told me that she wants me to have my Rheumatologist write a note stating that I need my husband here to help me out due to my medical condition. It was funny because I asked her about how to expedite the process and she said it's not possible but then I went on about how I am on hold for my RA meds until I get pregnant and she said, "Oooooh,...you have a medical condition...well THAT's a different story!". lol.

My Rhuematologist isn't in on Fridays so I guess I'll have to wait until Monday. I feel kind of weird asking him to write the letter though. I mean what he needs to write goes against everything I believe in..i.e. that I need help from a man. lol. I just hope he doesn't say no. I'm almost thinking of asking my PCP to write a letter since she's in today but her office is notorious for not getting letters out until weeks later. (Like when I need camp forms filled out, etc.)

So I guess we'll see what happens next week. I'm worried now about how to broach the subject with the Rhuematologist though. I don't want him to think I'm using him just to get my husband here...even though I kind of am.

Doodle, when I went for my yearly exam last summer I was talking to my doctor about my situation. She told me she had another patient in the same situation only this lady's husband was in Canada. She wrote a letter on her behalf about her medical condition. Not sure if it helped but it couldn't hurt.

Happy Friday!

Half day at work, then off to play golf with some friends.

Jackie- I tried curves with a friend once and I was kind of surprised that it's just a small room with a circle of "machines". I went around the loop 4 times and didn't feel a thing the next day! I prefer going to a gym but I do think Curves is a great way to get out and get moving.

I did 2 laps and at least my blood was pumping. That's a start. Til yesterday, my idea of a situp was waking in the morning.

Hey Sarah, FORE!

J (F)

I can't do a true sit up to save my life. It kills me to see my daughters doing it 'cause I know I used to be like that. I have to put my hands in the back of my head and then I only get to the point where my shoulders are off the ground. That about does it. lol

I have heard that Curves is great for people who are just starting out, i.e. couch potatoes like myself who have not stepped inside a gym in years. We have something similar in my town called 1,2, 3 or something. It's all women and looks like a similar set up to Curves but my problem is that I can't just leave at night and go there since my kids are too young to be at home after dark still. They're also too old to be in a gym daycare but beside that I would never make them do that since it's just not fair to them.

Soooooooo...I have all of these tapes that collect dust under my tv, such as Walk Away the Pounds, etc. WATP is my favorite when I actually do it. the kiddos like doing it with me too. hmmmmmm maybe I'll start it tonight!

Ayesha: I used to enjoy those kind of movies when I was a teenage. Now I can't stand them. In this case, I"d have to give her the money and say here, take a friend!! (darn, no green faced smiley!)

Doodle: Good luck with the letter from your doctor. I hope it helps speed things along.

Sparrow: Bring some Pizza back to MENA!!

Jackie: Good to see you as always.

Allousa: What are you doing to pass the time?

We are going out for dinner at a seafood place that the doc got us a certificate for. I always enjoy seafood by the water, especially when it's free. :P
