Hi, 2 things.

1. My wife finished her medical and said they kept her medical and said it will be forwarded to the embassy/interview. Is that normal?

2. I recieved my interview packet today, my wife is still waiting for hers...........Do they look exactly alike? I read on the forum that scanning and emailing a copy to your husband/wife was acceptable, in lieu of the original, true?

Thanks!

hello xmkwhite!

Yes SLEC takes the passport and her medical result, they'll be the one to forward it to USEM. :)

I am the beneficiary here in PI and I am still waiting for my packet. But husband gave me a scanned copy and sent it via email. And he also send me the original packet he received thru DHL, got it yesterday.

Your wife can call SLEC for packet pick-up too. I'll be going to SLEC later for my Day2 medical, i'll ask them and update you.

hope this helps.. :)

yes St. Lukes normally takes the passport and keep the medical result, they're the one who will forward it to embassy, if they returned ur fiancee' xray and vaccination records she should be fine.

and i also heard that they really do send 2 copies of packet, one to the petitioner and one to the benificiary, i met someone at St. lukes who has a scanned copy of appointment letter from her fiance, bec her packet got lost by USE, she requested one from St. lukes, but with only a scanned copy of her fiance's appointment letter her med went okay

Strange that St. Lukes didn't give her the packet when she did her medical. Maybe she didn't ask for it!
