Legal status in Canada (for our purposes) is not exclusive to citizens and landed immigrants. I had a work permit and Bren a study permit, and that was more than enough. I would asume (not sure though) that same applies to refugees, but double check with Vancouver

Good luck, L.

Legal status doesn't matter in the case of K3s as they're required by the LIFE act to interview in the country they got married (in this case they were married in Canada). Such a weird piece of legislation there! :D

Oooops, then I don't know.... I did DCF with a work permit; but then again we both lived in Canada and married there. Again, your best bet is to contact Vancouver directly and ask them point blank.

Good luck, L.

misa i guess u re right, since the life act says u can only interview where the marriage took place except if it is in US, it should be fine, even since he said that he has work permit, for two year and working, that is an evidence of living in canada not a visitor and that should be enough as a status, so that should be ok i guess
