:help::help::help:

Hi all out there....

Iam so happy I found this site.......

Jake and me got to know each other in April last year......via Internet....so when he was on leave from Iraq in summer 2005 he visited me for 2 weeks in Germany and we felt in Love.....i visited him for 3 weeks in December 2005 then....so we decided to go the long hard way of the K-1...

Anyway....Jakes computer got stolen (and some more stuff) when he was in Iraq... so Iam in charge now to do the internet investigatons.....we prepared all forms, letters, proof of having met, pics etc.

And he is very bad with paper stuff...so I have to organize that all...but I love him and I like doing it...just the pressure is more than I expected...

So there is one question right now: Do we have to pay the fingerprinting fee together with the fee for the I-129F......or is it to pay later on?

Jake is in the National guard of tennessee...do they need to take his fingerprints then anyway?...or only mine?

Do we have to send the money order to USCIS Texas...or to the department of Homeland security there in East Tennessee?

Iam very nervous about that all....if I do a mistake or forget something it will delay all...so before Jake is paying the fee and sending the package I-129F I want to be sure........thank you so much for your help!!! (F)

the money order goes to the service center - texas if thats yours - and nowhere else.

Fees are for application forms only and the USC has to singn his ones and the beneficiary signs the ones for her (at this stage thats the ID info forms)

Have you read the guides here? Top tabs.

They will take you thru everything you need to have - a checklist - and what you need to send initially.

Fingerprinting is for AOS after marriage and is part of the biometrics they do; for the non-USC.

I don't THINK they do it earlier - if they do it would be at interview (for the non-USC)

Good luck by the way :) This site and its patrons shouldbe able to help you thru all queries but DO read the guides, they are invaluable!

Thank you so much.......I spent already all of my lunchbreaks of the last two weeks on this forum...it helped me a lot........that is actually the reason why we are almost done with preparing the file......

Hey, congratulations on finding the site.

I had to do fingerprints prior the interview in December 2005, cost was Euro 75.00. But that is not a requirement to have them - not all people have it. It was due to security checks because I had an overstay of 1 day of the Visa Waiver Program in 2003...

Good luck on your petition, have a fast journey
