other people's mood can affect you, yes. I have a co-worker that's always smiling and she's that type that talks with the super high on acid baby voice, you know? At first I thought she was really fake, but now I understand that's the way she is, she is happy, so good for her, and when I'm having a bad day that she makes a joke or something it makes me feel better.

"Super high on acid baby voice" Is the baby on acid????:lol: That's funny, but yeah I know that voice..........it's annoying sometimes. So you see, try not to let other people effect you for the negative. It's kinda like the whole peer pressure thing, "if your friend jumps off a bridge, will you?" I'm sure you heard that lecture............I know I did. Many times I've jumped, but I end up in worse shape.............

I'm serious. I fail to understand how some people can be so positive about life and enjoy it so much. I envy you. The way you described you sitting having a glazed doughnut, coffee, it's like a commercial for happiness.

i'm still searching vj for the coffee lounge but no luck so far.

vj has one...you need to be the top 2 posters to get the invite..i just left brother jim...he was reading penthouse forum and drinking a sanka

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Hey fellow VJer's! Good morning from Beautiful Washington! I'm sitting here with a chocolate glazed doughnut and Starbucks coffee, ahhh the sweet life. My kid's off to school, off from workand the day is mine. I'm enjoying this morning and using it for all it's worth. Any one wanna join the coffe lounge?? Anything goes, but stay positive, I've got enough complaints of my own. LOL, I'm trying to escape that this morning.... Join me in the lounge..... B)

It doesn't have to be the earth shattering things that make you happy....just the little things, like a glazed doghnut. Enjoy the rest of your day

YOU RAWK!!!

LOL, I know what you mean, I have had a really hard week, and believe me I have not been successful at being positive the last few days. I've been waiting now 155 days for my K-1 approval, and I'm watching others pass me by who have filed after me. It's hard to stay positive, I know. I just made up my mind that today I won't worry, today I won't stress and I will stop checking the USCIS website every 10 min, (because that's where a lot of my frustrations begin). Also most importantly I know that the Lord Jesus is in control and even though I think I'm behind schedule in this process, He has a perfect time for everything. So I'm just trying to keep my head up, and give my worries to God, because He cares about me, and what I'm going through. Ya know??? to be positive is a choice that we have to make, even I don't always make the right choice. We have to press on, and don't let these things as hard as it is sometimes to discourage us. This is my goal today, I don't know what tommorrow holds but when it comes I'll have to make another choice. I can choose to let circumstances determine my outcome, or not. Today, I wanna be positive........so.............say no to drugs! LOL LOL :D:lol:

Rodgiegirl, I have to say thank you for your words today...especially these above. They were just what I needed to read this evening.

And with that, I'm going to go to bed!
