Hey fellow VJer's! Good morning from Beautiful Washington! I'm sitting here with a chocolate glazed doughnut and Starbucks coffee, ahhh the sweet life. My kid's off to school, off from workand the day is mine. I'm enjoying this morning and using it for all it's worth. Any one wanna join the coffe lounge?? Anything goes, but stay positive, I've got enough complaints of my own. LOL, I'm trying to escape that this morning.... Join me in the lounge..... B)

I'm serious. I fail to understand how some people can be so positive about life and enjoy it so much. I envy you. The way you described you sitting having a glazed doughnut, coffee, it's like a commercial for happiness.

LOL, I know what you mean, I have had a really hard week, and believe me I have not been successful at being positive the last few days. I've been waiting now 155 days for my K-1 approval, and I'm watching others pass me by who have filed after me. It's hard to stay positive, I know. I just made up my mind that today I won't worry, today I won't stress and I will stop checking the USCIS website every 10 min, (because that's where a lot of my frustrations begin). Also most importantly I know that the Lord Jesus is in control and even though I think I'm behind schedule in this process, He has a perfect time for everything. So I'm just trying to keep my head up, and give my worries to God, because He cares about me, and what I'm going through. Ya know??? to be positive is a choice that we have to make, even I don't always make the right choice. We have to press on, and don't let these things as hard as it is sometimes to discourage us. This is my goal today, I don't know what tommorrow holds but when it comes I'll have to make another choice. I can choose to let circumstances determine my outcome, or not. Today, I wanna be positive........so.............say no to drugs! LOL LOL :D:lol:

That's amazing! I wish I could always be positive like that. But I guess for that I'd have to live far away from mankind :P

haha I'm positive but realistic. I do enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a pastry or something but I don't get that excited about it. I'm drinking mint hot chocolate...all my cares are gone lol

Nessa! Your funny, you know that? I'm not always happy, I have my bad days. I fail, miserably at times, but life is a process of moving forward and not staying in the same place. Look at new born babies how they change and grow, as a mom I remeber when my daughter started to walk. She would fall down many times, but she kept trying and eventually she got it. Then she started to run, and skip and now she's so fast, she can keep up with me, (I'm not a track star, LOL). But anyways, my point is that, life changes every day, and we can't let things determine or outlook on life. when we have a bad day, like falling when your trying to learn to walk, and we let that discourage us, we probably won't succeed much in life. But if we look at it as part of the process of learning, we will most often take it in stride.

So It's just a choice that you make, when people start to get on your nerves, or this process with immigration is making you wanna pull your hair out, just know that it is at that moment that you can choose to let ruin your day or not. I'm I making sense????? LOL, maybe just to me...........

you make perfect sense and I'm inspired. I wish it was easy for me not to let small things ruin my day. I try, but I don't always succeed.

cool,

Yeah, I don't always succeed, but we must keep trying. Maybe your like me, I' m so sensitive, and even if someone around me is having a bad day I start to feel bad too..............do you ever feel that way?? It's like when that happens I'm picking up on their vibes or something, I just realized that about me around a month or two ago, and when I did I was like "wow, why am I going to let their bad day bring my day down" So maybe like I said your like me and you can easily descern other's moods, and they might be affecting you. Do you think??????

haha I'm positive but realistic. I do enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a pastry or something but I don't get that excited about it. I'm drinking mint hot chocolate...all my cares are gone lol

other people's mood can affect you, yes. I have a co-worker that's always smiling and she's that type that talks with the super high on acid baby voice, you know? At first I thought she was really fake, but now I understand that's the way she is, she is happy, so good for her, and when I'm having a bad day that she makes a joke or something it makes me feel better.
