Sadly, I feel the need to point out that not all Red Sox fans are loud, boorish, drunken 18-30-year-old males. Granted, these types seem to go to an awful lot of games, and I found myself cringing more than once when I went to a couple of Sox-D'Backs interleague games in Phoenix this past summer.

My 96-year-old grandmother is a die-hard Sox fan, and she's nice.

Devilette, I'm not surprised you didn't like the Sox fans you met in NYC. :)

They really are a compelling team. I think it will be a great series.

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Who cares? Baseball is a boring (long) game for fat guys. It's so drawn out & boring they need 7 games to pick a winner! :P

:lol: :lol: :lol: I used to think the same thing but when I met my fiance, I found out he has been playing baseball all his life and he plays for three different teams on the summer. On our second date, I ended up at one friday night game....of course I wasn't the only girlfriend there but I was looking at my watch every 30 minutes thinking when was the game going to end while the other girls were all exicted and screaming! It took forever!!! hahaha! So After being at every friday game since 2005 and watching baseball games on tv, I ended up liking it :D

We can hear the crowd at fenway park from our house....

we saw the jets fly overhead....

but my comute home was hell trying to get through all the traffic going to the Game.....
