Hello UK!

Ok so a quick few questions, havent been able to find them when searching so im hoping that i can suck some wisdom out of my fellow UK VJers. Here goes....

1 - The co sponsor has plenty of income to meet the requirements. If she was to also put down the value of her real estate (home!) would she then have to provide proof of that, or would it stand as ok just putting down the figure?

2 - Is the letter from the bank needed if the only account at the bank is a checking/current account and no other significant savings/investments are held?

3 - Are photocopies of previous pay stubs and income tax forms OK or do they have to be originals?

I greatly appreciate any responses of people who have been there/done that before and have the experience of what its like going through London!

Cheers everyone

Also, at the bottom of the second page of the I-134 form - what is that all about when it talks about "Oath or Affirmation of Sponsor"

Does this need to be filled in or not? If yes, who fills it in and how is it filled in?

Thanks a lot guys

1) If the sponsor/co-sponsor has enough income then disclosing home value is not really needed - if it is listed on the form, then you/they will need to show how they arrived at this amount (which can be done using the previous year's property tax statement or a mortgage statement).

2) If income is sufficient, none needed, but these are personal choices.

3) Photo copies are sufficient for Pay-Stubs and tax returns - originals may need to be provided upon request or at interview. (IRS Tax Transcripts at better since no supporting documents are required.)

Also, at the bottom of the second page of the I-134 form - what is that all about when it talks about "Oath or Affirmation of Sponsor"

The "Oath" section and signature must be completed by the sponsor IN THE PRESENCE of the notary (person notarizing the document) - basically the sponsor fills out the form and leaves this part to complete when the take it to a notary public.
