I wanted to share something nice my husband said last night

I wanted to share something just to put a smile on your face and to try and ask for others to share similiar stories to put a smile on our face today.

Last night my husband took me to dinner at a Chinese restaurant. The fact that it was at a Chinese restaurant was sweet because my husband isn't crazy to have Chinese. He seems to not be able to get over his fear that they are feeding us dogs. LOL Crazy I know. But he knew I love Chinese is why he took me there last night. Well the really sweet thing he said last night was he wants to bulk up. Meaning he wants to muscle up. He explained that he wanted to make all the girls jeolous of me, that I was with such a hot guy, so others would know I was wonderful and be jeolous of me. I told him he already does that and he doesn't have to do bulking up unless he wants to do it for himself.

He's had this notion in his head for a long time, that he wants to do this for me and I think it is just one of the many wonderful things about him that makes me treasure and love him.

I could share a ton more, but I wanted to share a good thought with you all.

I look forward to hearing some of the sweet things your love says to you or does for you.

This wasn't actually something he did... but it happened recently and had me laughing

He went tot he grocery store to pick up some essentials... one of which included some... erm.. feminine products? He got to the counter and the young cashier smiled and said "oh, you got her chocolate too!"

Ahhh, a warm fuzzy thread. I like these. My hubby is always involved with the goings on of the baby, even though he's not born yet. I know that sounds silly, but Ive known so many women to go through their pregnancies virtually alone because their partner didnt feel like they needed to share the experience or give emotional support. So I feel lucky to have a husband who wants to build the bond before birth. The other night he was laying on my belly talking to the baby. I asked him what the baby said to him. "I cant tell you', he said seriously, "Its secret between men" . Im also digging his catering skills Last night he catered to my ridiculous craving for peanut M&M's and brought me two big packages ...... at 12:30 am

My fiance always answers his phone when I call (found a calling card for cell phones that shows my #) even if it's highly inconvienient, or at least to tell me to call back in 30 min.

Yesterday he answered while driving a motorcycle 1 handed because he was afriad that I would hang up before he could pull over The day before he also answered while his mom was yelling at him It definantly gives me a colorful view of his daily life over there...

Awwwwwww mine does that too, and makes sure I'm tucked in good before I go to sleep.

He also brings me breakfast in bed, give me surprises all the time, tells me I don't need make up to be beautiful (I disagree lol)

Cute thread!

While I was visiting hubby in his hometown in JA...I stayed for a month...I was having major stomach problems from eating different foods all day..it was sweltering hot and I was getting bit like crazy by mosquitos. I was miserable and it started to show. One night i had a very hard time sleeping from fighting the mosquitos all night. I wake the next morning for church and hubby has disappeared. I shower and got to the kitchen where I see he has set up a breakfast of banana, orange, whole grain cereal and soy milk....YUMMY!! (This is not standard food in many poorer neighborhoods in Jamaica) He was covered in sweat from trekking all thru town in the heat to find it for me. I thought that was sweet!

He also went all over town looking for me some flip flop sandals when my only pair fell apart while walking in town one day. He made sure to get a pair that matched my outfit.

Mine always tries to cover me up before we go to sleep but I have to tell him no coz I am too hot. (but i love that he at least tries...it makes me feel loved)

Mine knows how much I love cinnamon, especially the cinnamon rolls. (I had been bothering him all week to get me something that was like Cinnabon). So one night we went to a place where they sell , what he called cinnamon rolls (it looked like a long burrito , i have no idea what that was, but the taste was sooooooooo good, and it did have cinnamon)....so we're driving back home, and i told him (while sniffing the bag ) , "Baby,this would go great with some vanilla ice cream on top". He didn't say anything, just made a quick stop at the metro to get some ice cream.

Driving back to the flat, the car sputtered and came to a stop in the middle of the road. I was like "uh oh" . He got out , opened the hood....closed the hood, looked at me and said, "we'll have to walk home cause there's no mechanic at this hour, i'll have the car checked tomorrow".

Walking back to the flat, I looked at him carrying the one bag of cinnamon "burrito" and one bag of vanilla ice cream.....and i just doubled over from laughing at his expression!!! All he said was, "YOU BETTER EAT IT ALLLLLLLL" .

We laughed the whole way back home.

P.S. I literally ate it all, because (and i don't know why ) he didn't want any.
