Renewing Travel Documents

Please help.

These instructions are as clear as mud,

I need to renew my wife’s travel documents and need to know to what depth do I go to in giving them initial evidence. Can someone please tell me what is good enough evidence wise and where do I send it? Chicago Lockbox? I live in Arizona

PS: we e-filed last year but we forgot our secret question and answer so we are locked out and is adding more aggravation. Can anyone tell me how to get around this?

Where you send it depends on where you applied for AOS. If you sent your AOS to Chicago, that's where you send the AP application. Check the latest instructions because I think things may have changed since July 2007.

When my husband sent off for his AP renewal, he just sent a copy of the AOS I-797 and a copy of the notice from USCIS that the case has been delayed by FBI background check. That was it. It was processed really quickly too--5 weeks. That was about the only pleasant surprise we've had!
