Ok, wife has interview soon, nov 9, and I'm working out flight arraingements.

Not purchasing yet, just researching any future difficulties from this point.

I see that there can be hassles at the POE.

Her destination will be OK.

From some of the POE posts on this site I see there could be problems

getting to the next leg of the flight if the POE takes to long?

How long of a layover should I plan?

Also, my last few flights there and back have went via Canada?

I would like to avoid the Canadian leg and just come in to

LAX or SAN? Any advice and inexpensive tickets and how to

avoid POE problems?

She's almost here after waiting nearly 2 years!!! YHEA!!!

Flying through Canada is problematic due to most foreign citizens needing a visa to transit Canada.

Plan a 3 hr layover at the US POE, to account for possible flight delays, and time it takes to clear immigrations and cutoms.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
