I am hurting very badly right now. My husband left yesterday after 10 months. I am 8 weeks pregnant. I found out he was cheating on me and he immediately said he wanted a divorce and to get rid of the baby. I am writing my story in MS Word right now and I will post the entire story as soon as I can stomach to get it all out. Right now I'm feeling used and betrayed and deeply hurt. I gave everything to him and spent time, money and emotions getting him here. Things were just going to turn around for us and I found out I was pregnant. We have been trying for 7 months. He wanted a baby more than anything. When he found out, he cried and called all of his family and friends and they were all happy and crying about it too. Then he started cheating on me 2 1/2 weeks ago. His family is furious with him (I called and told them).

I am canceling the AOS tomorrow. Our relationship was all a lie.

I posted under a new ID because I am so embarassed. Things were going ok until all of this.

Just needing to get some empathy because I'm feeling pretty worthless right now.

Why would you feel worthless? You are not the one who went out of the marriage for sexual gratification, he is. He is the one who should feel like a worthless sack of S h eye T, not YOU.

You have ALL the empathy in the world from me. Been there done that, he left when we had a 14 month old and I was 8 weeks pregnant with twins. Tried to come crawling back on more than one occasion, but I would have NONE of that again.

Take care of yourself, don't feel embarrased, and don't take this out on yourself. You are worthy of more and better. In the end, you will see this is the truth.

You have my empathy dear. That is awful that he did that to you. I understand your pain and was in a realtionship with a cheater in my past marriage. It hurts but know that one day this will all make sense to you. It's hard to see that right now especially with a little one on the way but God has a plan for everybody and one day you will see things through clear eyes. You take care of yourself and that precious baby of yours and we'll all be praying for you.

Itsfinallyover, there is no need to feel embarrassed or stupid, because you are not the liar and you are not the cheater. I am sorry you are experiencing this now,but I hope things get better for you very soon.

So sorry to hear this. Everyone is right, this is NOT your fault. No matter what happens in a marriage, cheating is WRONG as is the fault of the person that does the cheating.

I'm sorry that is happening to you. Don't be embarrassed - he's the one that should be very embarrassed and I hope his family is letting him know how terrible his actions are. You chose the name "itsfinllyover, and that implies you've been hurting for some time now, so hopefully this is a turning point for better times, especilly with a baby coming. I feel so bad for you. Just somthing to think about though, its not totally unheardof for a new father-to-be to freak out a little with the news and it isn't always a true indicator of his real intentions or whats in his future as a dad and husband...I swear I am not defending him and I'd go nuts on him for that"get rid of it" and the girlfriend too...theres no excuse for that. I'm just saying that some "men" are too young or stupid or scared to do the right things right away, but sometimes actually get back on track. Watch what happens between him and his family about this if you can. thats really the biggest indicator (in my opinion) of what he's really really about. Take care of you

I'm just going to echo what Dawn said --- guys can freak out even if they are excited. It's a huge step and with all the changes he's gone through in the last 10 months yea it's freaky. Again I do not agree with cheating it's wrong no matter what the circumstances. I hope that you guys can figure out some amicable solution as it's tough - I don't know any of the details or your situation but I really hope that things go ok for you and the baby.
