Happy Halloween!

I thought we could start a thread of good Halloween costume ideas. I'm going to a Halloween party this weekend and Hicham and I have no idea what to dress up as.

What is everyone going to wear for Halloween?

Any ideas?

Well, you could go as the obvious, desert sheik and captured maiden. I find a trash bag and some fall leaves are a cute idea if it's an outside party. Or, how about salt and pepper? Or an electic socket and the wall receptacle? Sorry, my idea of halloween costumes are mostly about ninja warriors, Yugi-OH and Dracula, that's what happens when you have three boys!

I haven't dressed up for halloween in YEARS unless you call the stupid witch hat I wear when I used to take the kids out trick or treating a costume. Now they dont' even want me to go with them anymore so I stay home and pass out the candy, but I only agreed to stay home if they give me all their Babe Ruth candybars. :blush:

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

If we were going to a Halloween party Moh wants to dress up as Imhotep and I would be Anck-su-Namun. With his head completely shaven and a little black kohl Moh looks eerily like Imhotep. Yes, we've experimented with the look for funzies. :blush:

Well Sara has taken the Violet idea. What other options are there for Yo El Preggo? And dont anyone say pumpkin, I want to be original. :)

The first halloween that Hicham and I were together, he dressed up as Zorro and I was a Spanish gypsy. Hicham won 1st place and $100 in a costume contest. I must say he looked HOT! We were late returning the costume. :blush:

I still have the picture from that night on the fridge. :whistle:

I was a bag of jelly beans one year. I got one of those big clear yard trash bags. I blew up alot of really colorful balloons and made this really pretty bunch of curly ribbons to put around my neck...but the logistics of this costume are not good. It's difficult to sit and don't even try and ride in the car with it...but it looks GREAT!

I went to a friends costume party and I spent the night running from people trying to pop the balloons!

Those are all good ideas! I love the blueberry idea but I'll have to wait a few years for that one! :whistle:

We're thinking something very homemade, preferably involving things we already own such as tin foil, trash bags, or whatever.

Thanks for the ideas! We'll definitely have to take a picture and I hope everyone will post their halloween pictures!

I'm going to stay in bed with the covers over my head that day. It's triple low critical bioryhthem day for me. Since I live downtown I'm sure I'll see load of drunks in costumes. Note: Maybe I should check out a camera and video tape the passing costumes? Would you all like to see that? It could be called Halloween Experiment I.

I for one would! I plan to keep my camera out to take pictures of all my patrons. The best costume I ever saw was a little kid a couple of years ago who was a Tornado. It was obvious mom was trying to save some money and used sheets and whatnot from around the house. It made me homesick because my mom turned me into a dust bunny one year with a sheet and kleenex. Bless that little kid's heart! I gave him 3 handfulls of candy and toys :lol:
