Hello Everybody!!!! :)

Well I guess I have a little good news.......I made my daily phone call to the DC office today. Got someone that really looked at my case and looked a little further into it.......She told me that as of monday they are working on the Big security check.....She explained that this one can take up to 4 months, ( Better then 6 to 12). Also said that it looks as if they are getting ready to issue the visa pending this last security check.......Every other has come back clean with no red flags........I am just happy knowing that they are working on it and there is progress.......I do wonder however if this had something to do with my call to the congressmans office and mentioning to her that if the visa is not issued before our second wedding anniversay that they will lose the fee for lifting conditions.....Hmmmmm???????

It helps so much to get some information. I wish they understood that not having any reliable information makes the process so much more difficult and us much more annoyed and calling every hour and using RFE tricks and all the rest.

Good Luck girl! I hope this comes to a close soon.

You are so right......Not having any information is what really makes it all the more difficult.....I know for me it feels as though Im in this big black hole with no light anywhere and cant feel or see anything around me and dont know where im going.......That is the most painful thing of this whole experience........Now that I know what is happening and that they are working on the case I can feel a little bit more relaxed knowing that it is going through the system........At this point I feel blessed that this is all im going through......I know a few others that have either had there case sitting around for 10 months with no one looking into the case or others that have been denied.......So I really feel good right now......Yes I miss my husband like crazy but I do know that things could have been worse......So I am thankful.......I will continue to keep you posted and up to date......thanks to everybody here on VJ.......
