Just wanted to say...I love this board...

I have been reading other boards on here and some people are super vicious and calling each other names and saying nasty things and I'll admit, I was a little afraid...lol

I'm bored too, it's raining and I'm hungry.

I was just thinking that.

I can be having a really crappy day and then I log in here and see Liz Legend's little smiley things in her signature or someone like you or Carla having just the right words to encourage someone or someone else (usually Len or Ron) saying something that makes me laugh so hard I can hardly breathe.

Of course it is also nice seeing people getting their interviews so I know there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

The deli where I get my take out for lunch also does catering and events. Today there was a guy discussing having his wedding there and I wanted to cry. He and his fiancee can SET THE DATE!!!

This is a great section. I truly love coming here to read about others journeys - ones just beginning and those that are already through the process. It certainly gives me hope that my day will come tooo....can hardly wait.

April 13, 2009 - Welcome to the USA letter rec'd. PRC to be rec'd within 3 weeks.

April 16, 2009 - 2 yr GC rec'd in mail.

March 2, 2011 - Mailed in I-751 to CSC

March 4, 2011 - I-751 delivered to CSC

March 4, 2011 - NOA issued

March 12, 2011 - NOA received

April 14, 2011 - BIO Appt 5/6/11

May 6, 2011 - BIO done in 10 minutes...no re-takes this time :)

June 27, 2011 - Email rec'd "Status - Approved"

July 1, 2011 - 10 yr GC arrived

And that's why I made myself an honorary Canadian a couple of months ago :)

I figure I live close enough to the border, why not. I love the Canadian forum too.

Btw, I was going to say Sonoran, I got really tired of people around me in "normal" relationships being able to set dates and make wedding plans too. So P and I just set a date for next summer so we could start making plans! Of course, with Murphy's Law and all that, he'll have a ridiculously quick NOA2 through Visa approval and we'll have to adjust everything so we don't run over the 6 months. Nah.....who am I kidding?!

lol yeah...it wasn't the Ron comment, it was the thread in the k1 forum...doh!

I really sort of just skimmed the post..I did agree with some of it but most of it I just felt super bad..I figured the guy had already gone through enough ####### and so I just said "Good advice" but then I got to thinking about it and I had to voice my opinion, along with the others. Should have just left it.
