Anyone ever put sausage and peppers over rice?

I was thinking of cooking it to go over rice because I do not feel like making a trip to the store to get rolls. We have croissants,but I don't think that would be too tasty :blink: ???

We had spaghetti yesterday too so I don't want to fix pasta again.

Any suggestions?

well.. not exactly.. but its rice with meat!! mhh

OMG now I want some cajun food.. any1 know a good cajun place in Charlotte?

That ain't my granny's jambalaya! :)

What kind of sausage? Kielbasa or Italian-y (yes, I know that's not a word) sausage? Either would be great.

I love grilling sausages (usually Italian) and making saffron rice to go with them. Yum!!!!
