Good luck on your beginning journey, LoriLawless...

My Honey, we are in a similar situation.. hopefully we will get approved real soon.. I called yesterday, and FINALLY they said they are working on my case.. so it takes them 6 months just to START PROCESSING.. and then another month or so to finish up??.. :crying::crying:

We recieved another touch on our I-130 for the RFE. I swear these people play games with you. This whole process is so emotionally draining! Hang in there, it has to soon end! I know you feel; I saw my precious honey in September and when I left is the most horrible, heartbreaking experience. But, I told him next time I come I will bring him home with me. This is what gives me strength and you should think the same. We are almost there.

05/09/2007 recieved NOA I from CSC (Reached 6 MONTHS 195 days from NOA I)

05/18/2007 Filed I-129F at Chicago Office ( Filed 186 days ago) 6 MONTHS!!

05/20/2007 rec'd NOA (184 days ago for NOA I ) REACHED THE 6 MONTH MARK!!

BOTH APPLICATIONS APPROVED 11/20/2007 THANK YOU MY GOD!!

11/20/2007 Date of NOA 2 email

11/26/2007 Date of hard copy of NOA 2

12/12/07 Date NVC receives paperwork

12/14/07 K3 is sent to Lima Peru, received case number from NVC.

My Honey, I hope that you get your approval soon!! :thumbs: We really need to pressure them.. I found out how they ca start working on your case (if you past the 180 days).. I called in and bugged them for 3 days straight.. and then for two days they started touching my case... 10/19, 10/22.. now I will see if it will update today too =) Hopefully I will get approved soon too.. let's keep our hopes up..

wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

Thank you supernova.. =) I will celebrate your approvals too... Congraulations on your approvals!!.. You will be able to see your loved one soon... I hear the NVC trip now takes 5-6 weeks just to get there??.. At least you can prepare your Packet 3 now... I wish everyone a good reunion soon!! :thumbs:

Gogo, ur a bundle of nerves..1st ur wifey is from China.

Not exactly a favored country, for us it may take a little

more time..Matters not what anyone says the country

can make a difference..My sweet china (real woman)

was even able to come here 1st and we married....

Since then I've been there 6 times for the same reason

as you, just can't live without her..She is here know yes

but we spent two years in hell apart, even now we are

still caught in this dhs trap..Theres nothing we can do

to make this wait faster, it's .gov not much we can do

but find our own way to deal with time..Have you

heard of (italkbb)?..My wife and her family can call

and talk all they want..Only cost 25 bucks a month.

Need a broadband connection but ya get a dedicated

chinese phone number wifey could wake ya up at 3am

when she misses you and won't cost her a dime.

Take it easy man, we know it's hard...........

Gogo..don't be sad, i think this system just picks some of us to give a hard time...and others breeze through...but, we will be back with our spouses soon and we have the rest of our lives to be together...i applied in Feb. and still don't have an interview date yet...so keep your head up--i bet you will get an interview before me...hehe.....i know it's hard, but we are here with you till the end!

It's not an easy process on anyone. You just have to learn not to get your hopes up and it becomes easier.

All the touches are unfair in a way, they get your hopes up that an approval is on the way... just for USCIS to turn around and tell you to wait longer :( I found out when I woke up this morning that USCIS had touched our case, I was happy to start with but a few hours after, I am back in "waiting mode" and not expecting great things to come from the touch. It's what keeps me going. I can't let myself get more and more excited just to be let down.. I tried that in the first few months of this process and it was too hard on my emotionally :(

We'll all get through this Gogo and it'll make us and our relationships stronger because of what we've had to endure. The person we are going through this for (whether petitioner or benificary), is worth all this pain and more and that is what keeps me going.

This is a truly horrible process but, when I think about it, I would go through this again to be with Josh.
