Hi all,

I just wanted to let all of you know I just got that email saying we are approved from the CSC!!!!! We have been waiting for just shy of 5 months! I am so happy and hope all the other May filers are right behind us!

Filed on 5/25/07

Did not recieve NOA1

10/22/07 approved! NOA 2 mailed out.

I sure hope the wait at the NVC isn't as long!

10.19.2007 - Called CSC to find out why we didn't get NOA 1

10.22.2007 - NOA2 Received by email

10.23.07- Touched

11.13.07- NVC Recieved Case

11.14.07- Called NVC to recieve Case #

11.15.07 Case Left NVC...sent to Embassy in London

11.29.07 Package #3 recieved by Jamie in England

12.1.07 Forms sent back to the Embassy, waiting now for package 4 with interview date...........

12.3.07 Package 3 arrived at Embassy

12.6.07 Medical Appt.

12.15.07 Police report arrives after 39 days(and on a Saturday!)

12.17.07 Spoke with DOS, London Embassy has all the paperwork they need and they have reviewed the case, no IV date yet set, she said will be 2 months out. UGHHHHHHH. COME ON PEOPLE!

3.3.08 James arrives in the US!

3.7.08 Married at the courthouse!!

This email does mean they approved us and will be sending the NOA 2 correct? I just read someone elses post who was challenged to say it was just the NOA1 which I never got.....help! I hope this is the real thing!

Im sure its NOA 2! I havent received one yet,....but if it was NOA1 it wud've jus confirmed the "receipt" of ur petition.

Yes, this is the email notification for NOA2, in a few days you'll receive a I-797C, Notice of Action in your mail that will say pretty much what this email says.

NOA1 only says, that your petition has been received and will be processed.

This is the real thing! ;)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

01 Dec 07 - NVC receives/assigns case #

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

Congratulations :dance: :dance: :dance: It's taking around 35 days to get to NVC at the moment but it moves much faster after that. It is worth ordering your police certificate now as it takes 40 days to arrive from receipt of request by the police.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment
