Hi

we sent our aos papers to nebraska office in sept. and they recievied them the 15th . we still havent recievied a noa or anything at all. is this normal ? what should we do now?

AOS has to be sent to chicago lockbox. Your aos paperwork will either be returned to you or forwarded to chicago lockbox, this has caused a delay in getting your NOA due to sending your paperwork to the wrong office. Give it a little more time, if you don't hear anything in the next couple of weeks i would call USCIS.

Nebraska may forward to MSC, or after some time they may just return it to you, family based AOS is handled by NBC and their mail center is in Chicago per the directions included with the I-485.

Also when it does reach the correct center expect further delays.
