Congratulations :dance: . I remember reading somewhere that they pull some cases for training purposes and they get approved a bit quicker than most. If that's the case maybe it means that there will be more adjudicators available soon

Congrats! An approval in approximately 30 days. Maybe it was something in the way you put your package together. Can you explain how your package was organized? It may help others in the future.

I'll have to double-check the packet (it's at my mom's for safekeeping), but it was packed in a manilla envelope, then put in a FedEx bubble mailer, which was then sealed in an extra-large FedEx mailer.

I believe it was in the following order:

1. Payment in the form of a cheque for $455

1. I-129F Cover Letter

1. I-129F Letter of Intent from both Evan and I

1. Declaration of Having Met in the Past 2 Years (1 page)

1. G-325A for Evan with his 2 passport photos in a Ziploc, attached by fasteners

1. G-325A for me with my 2 passport photos in a Ziploc, attached by fasteners

1. Employment Supplement for my G-325A

1. Copy of all pages of Evan's Passport

1. Copy of my full-length Birth Certificate

1. Photos and Colour Photocopies of 15-20 pictures taken between January 2005 and June 2007, including one of Evan with my grandmother.

1. Copies of about 5-10 e-mails, including one between me & Evan's stepmother, discussing the birth of his niece, and another between me & Evan's mother, father and two best friends, letting them know he arrived home safely, and them thanking me

1. Colour photocopy of a scrapbook page of a card from a local florist here in Montreal, which is dated, from when he sent me flowers for Valentine's Day 2006, with the dried flowers strewn around the card

1. Copies of the receipt for my 1st engagement ring, and the receipt for my wedding set, both in Evan's name. We also included the resizing receipts for the wedding set, which were in my name

1. Copy of a Hotel Receipt in Evan's name from when we stayed in Toronto together for BMEfest 2006

1. a mix of our Boarding Passes & Luggage Tags from the last year or so

1. 6 months' worth of phone calls, both incoming from him and outgoing by me (I believe it was over 100 pages, double sided). We would've included a year, but it didn't fit inside the envelope!

Everything was put together with two fasteners at the top, and seperated into four booklets: The Forms; The Photos; The Boarding Passes, Luggage Tags & Receipts; and The Phone Bills.

Start to Finish, it took about 18 1/2 hours, starting from 4 a.m. working non-stop on it until it was sent out at 10:30 p.m. that night.

all I can say is congrats and WOW that was fast! I'm just repeating what others have said....you don't need to be sorry for anything. We are just really jealous when you get approved so fast and we have spent months watching our timelimes move upto 2 months in the wrong direction!
