Hey all,

I appreciate everyone helping.

I have a question about address for K1 I-129F visa form. I am living with my parents, but I am in the process of buying a house. If I buy a house and my address changes, would that slow down my process?

I ask because, I put down my parent address for everything that relates to where I live, where my fiancee will live when she arrives, and anything relating to where I live now.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I was in the process of selling my house too and was unsure where we were going to end up when we moved. I used my cousin's address. We ended up living with her for 2 months and then moving into an apartment next door to her. I continue to use her address as my mailing address. When asked, I just said that we were in transition and I didn't want to confuse anything. Now, I use her address as our mailing address and our address as our place of residence. It's worked out wonderfully well.

Does not slow anything down, it is recommended to keep your "Home" address unchanged, don't file a forwarding order with the post office until you have NOA2 in hand.

USCIS mails things with "Return service requested" on the letter, this causes the post office to return USCIS mail to USCIS and not forward it. Causes a lot of lost NOA 2 letters.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
