Thanks so much but I won't lie I haven't been as strong as I would like. He and I have spent alot of time on the phone in the last few days. I was not innocent in the break up, I did some things too. I have alot of relationship issues that have reared their ugly heads again. Damn things I thought I got over them, lol. But I'm taking it all one day at a time and keeping my eyes open.

Funny thing about relationships...there is always three sides to the story...his..yours...and the truth. Anybody that thinks they are never wrong, or never at fault...usually are the very reason things are wrong.

Like I said before, time is your friend. We are all in a hurry to get through life...just to beg for more time when it's gone. Do what feels right to you. There is no right or wrong way in love. Keep your eyes open, but don't make him wear another man's shoes either.

Just wanted to say I love reading the patois. Its helping me understand it more. It'll be the day when I can actually understand when its spoken and hopefully speak it myself.

Don't read it silently. Sound it out. When you hear it as you read it, you will begin recognizing words every now and then in his conversation. Then, you will recognize a phrase. The next thing you know, you ears literally pop and you can understand it. I was like a dope fiend...in everybody's conversation all through town...seeking out people talking...all faas in dem business. I love when Jamaicans are here in Atlanta...chat nuff phockery inna patwah and mi chuckle cuz dem free wid ie...and nuh knoa mi all inna dem business. waaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiieeeeee

He loves his girls and my boys, and his spirit is broken because Jamaica doesn't care that he can't afford her surgery. OK, a few weeks ago I got a phone call and it was from a Megafone number ...I know cause my caller ID came up 'Hubby-Megafone'. So mi answer hit and one dyam fool nuh try fi tell mi seh mi win sweepstakes and send him $$ fi collect mi prize. I ask him where yuh calling mi from...him seh VIRGINIA...Wid big big Jamaican accent yuh knoa.

So, I say from when Megafone reach a VA?? Mi give 'im one rahtid cussing han hang-up pon 'im. Ok, now a next VJ Yardie memba tell mi last night that she got the same phone call 2 weeks ago and git a next one yesterday telling har she win a Mercedes Benz and fi send $450 fi collect it! Yo, a one gyal calling dis time and call deh vj Yardie memba by har correct name, tell deh VJ memba har home address all dung tuh airline she tek pon har last visit tuh see har SO! The VJ memba hang up pon har and deh blasted ooman nuh call har back agan!!!

So, mi seh halla dis fi seh, mi nuh knoa what scam Megafone a run. If dem a sell deh U.S. person phone number or listening in on conversation...mi nuh knoa...but jus' be VERY careful when yuh git Megafone calls!

I mentioned this to my husband and he works for Delta down in JA and they just fired a whole heap of folks for stealing peoples personal information and scamming money outta the situation. I wonder if thats a way they got her info?
