Mya: Travis and his brother started fighting and I woke up and tried to stop them from arguing. Travis hit him over and over and he said that he went to jail for rape and that he never touched the girl Tran started dating his girlfriend Melody and his girlfriend Melody dashed away her belly and now she can’t have children and now Travis thinks that I am being selfish and I am going to get rid of our baby I love you Travis I just needed time to think why did he leave me Toya? Toya: Rasta and Tran started fighting? Why? Huh? Your baby? What is going on?

*The waiter knocks on the door and announces room service. Toya opens the door for the tea, and tips the waiter. She pours tea for Mya and herself, and they sip in silence. Toya allows Mya to recompose herself before asking more questions.*

Toya: Honey are you feeling better now? Mya just stay calm. Whatever happened, I’m here for you. I’m ready to listen if you want to talk. If you just want to lie down, let me know. I’m sorry that I wasn’t here for you. I feel like I abandoned you after I met Fitz, but, you were spending so much time with Tran.

Mya: I’m doing better T. Thank you for coming. I don’t even know where to start. How did you know something happened, and I needed you?

Toya: Well, Fitz and I went out tonight. We were expecting to see you and Tran later tonight at Margaritaville. That’s why I didn’t hear my cell phone ringing. Someone at the front desk called me because there was a commotion in our suite, and they thought you may need me. They didn’t give any details about the commotion, so Fitz and I rushed over here, and found you on the floor by the elevator.

Mya: Oh sh**! I am so embarrassed. I never thought I would be in the middle of some crazy a** drama. deep sigh I stopped seeing Tran about two days ago. You know how I am. He started clinging too much, and I was confused. Well, I saw Rasta watching us on the beach, and I-I-I b-began fan-fantasizing about him. I-I went out um I went out with R-Rasta last night. Toya: *Looks at Mya earnestly, knowing that she isn’t mad at her girl because she didn’t feel anything for Rasta. She really looks at Mya’s haggard appearance for the first time tonight, and she tries to stifle her laughter.* HAAAAAAA-Haa ha-ha-ha-ha..kikikiki!

Mya: I know. I know. It’s all confusing. Tran’s real name is Delmar. Tradee aka Rasta is Travis. Tran lied about his real name when he met me, and he asked Tradee to lie about his name as a result.

Toya: SH**! What in the world is going on? Identical twins…

Mya: Ssshhh! Let me finish. It gets better, trust me. Travis was dating this girl, Melodee, in high school. They would sneak off together after school, so no one would know that they were having sex. Well, she didn’t tell Travis that she also started sleeping with his twin brother, Delmar. Melodee found out later that she was pregnant, and in love with Delmar. She knew that Travis wouldn’t allow her to have an abortion, and he wouldn’t understand that she was sleeping with his brother.

Delmar was very popular with the girls in school, and he didn’t have a problem showing them all love. If the girls he was interested in were loyal to their friends, he would just conveniently change his name to suit the situation, like he did with me.

Well, Melodee came up with a plan to get rid of Travis for good. She needed to get him away so that she could have the abortion without anyone being the wiser. Travis knew that she was pregnant, and he wanted to marry her. Melodee in her immature wisdom, decided to set Travis up for rape. She asked her friend Chantell to seduce Travis, and then scream rape. The problem was that Delmar had already been after Chantell under the pretense that he was Travis. Chantell finally agreed to sleep with Travis, who was really Delmar, and she screamed rape afterwards.

Delmar fled the scene. The police came to their home looking for Travis, and Travis went along with them sure of his innocence. Over time, his mind began to play tricks on him, and he began to believe that he had actually violated a woman. He said the nightmares became so real, that he could literally see himself raping Chantell. His relationships with women suffered after he was released from prison. He became Rasta in order to find some peace from his inner demons.

Chantell recently came to him, and apologized for the part she played in ruining his life. She told him how Melodee planned the entire thing, and why. He wanted to share the news with you, but he said that the time was never right.

Toya: Damn My! That’s a lot to digest. So, tell me about tonight. Why were you naked and crying in the hallway?

Mya: Well, I rushed back to be with Travis after our afternoon shopping because I missed him so much. We ended up making love, and we fell asleep on the floor. Travis told me that he woke up because Delmar was banging on the door. He put me in the bed, and went to the door. He told Delmar that his business with me was finished, and that he should not bother me again. I woke up to the screaming at each other.

Delmar called me all kinds of names, and threatened to kill me. Of course I didn’t know what the hell he was saying, but Travis explained it all to me later. When Delmar threatened to chop me up, Travis hit him. They took the fight out to the hallway, and security got involved. They threw Delmar out because I told them that Travis was my husband, and he was a guest of the hotel since I checked Delmar in under the name of Travis.

Travis and I begin to talk about everything, our families, our careers, our struggles, everything. He told me that he got caught with some weed, and he knew if he told them his real name, he would have gotten a lot of time. He told the police that his name was Delmar, and was released shortly after paying some pocket money to the police since he didn’t have a prior record.

We both agreed that our love making was off the charts different tonight. We both felt we knew the exact moment that I became pregnant. He got upset because I was confused, and wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep a baby or give up my life in the States. He kissed my forehead and walked out, and told me to take the time I needed to make up my mind about us. I didn’t want him to leave, I felt so alone and scared. Then, you and Fitz showed up.

Toya: Oh honey, you have been through a lot tonight. I may be an auntie? Wow!

*Opens her arms to hug and hold Mya. The women embrace for a long time. Shortly after, Toya calls Fitz and tells him that she is coming down.*
