Female voice: Well! I never! I’m sorry to have disturbed you…but I heard voices and laughter. Who were you talking to if you were all alone? *trying to glance around the restroom.*

Toya: My-Mya, girl? I thought something was wrong. I could have sworn that I heard voices and laughter too. Are you okay? Why is your hair wet? Did your clothes get that rumpled from the plane ride? Are you sure you are okay?

Mya: What the he** is with the Spanish Inquisition? I told you that I needed to freshen up. I didn’t like my hair, and I was beginning to feel a little nauseous. What’s the big deal anyway? Where is the damn fire? Who is this trick all up in my face anyway T?

Female voice : Excuse me? There is no need to be rude! Hmmpphff!

Toya: It doesn’t matter as long as you are okay. I was afraid that someone was holding you hostage in here. I’m just glad to know you are fine. Are you ready to go now? The driver has been waiting with a full van for a while now.

Mya: Yeah girl. I was almost ready before I was rudely interrupted. I just need to reapply my face, and I will be right out. A van??? What happened to our limo? You know what never mind. Give me 5 more minutes please.

Toya: Ummm…okay I guess. Are you sure you are okay? You look a little flushed. Was it something you ate?

Female voice: Excuse me, I will only be a minute. God I hope it’s still here! *The woman brushed past Toya and Mya cautiously. She enters the stall next to the last one, and looks down…*

Mya: I haven’t eaten anything yet. But, if my luck holds out…who knows. I’m not really sure. It may be a 24 hour bug or something. I can’t wait to get to our hotel to rest for a little while. I’ll be right out. I love you T.

*Mya goes back to the mirror and nervously looks at the woman to see when or if she will discover Tran in the next stall. She slowly begins to reapply her make-up.*

Why is this stall locked? *The woman rattled the door to Tran’s stall repeatedly. Tran’s breathing stops. He is prepared to kick this woman in her forehead if need be.* Is someone in there? Maybe, it’s broken. Oh Dear!*openly sobs and runs out of the restroom because she really doesn’t have anymore time to spare.*

Mya: I thought she would never leave!

*Mya runs to the door and checks to see if Tran can leave safely.*

Mya: Tran…Tran baby hurry up. It’s clear. I have to go. Tran?? Hurry!

Delmar: Baby, you really looked out for your man, eh? Look I don’t have a lot of time. I live in St. Ann. Where yuh stay ah Ochi? I mean what hotel are you staying at in Ocho Rios?

Mya: Um..um…I think it’s Royal Plantation or something. My girl made all the reservations for our trip. Sh**!!! Will I see you again? Where is St. Ann? How can I reach you? I really have to go, and you need to leave before someone spots you.

Delmar: Nuh worry babes. Mi check yuh lata zeen? I will find you my Earth angel, no matter what. Here take this. *Delmar kisses her briskly, and dashes out the door without looking back.*

*Mya wanders out the restroom dumbfounded and a little disheartened. She walks quickly over to Toya, and tries to mask her inner turmoil. They jump in the van and are off to Ocho Rios. Toya is excited and she is exchanging lively banter with the driver, and the other tourists in the van. They are singing along to Bob Marley quite off tune.*

Toya: Mya honey. What’s wrong? You are never this quiet. Ever. What happened? Are you upset about coming here? You don’t like Jamaica? We can turn around and catch a flight back home if you want to. I don’t mind. I actually miss Ian more than I thought I would anyway.

Mya: Huh? Oh. I’m fine. I’m truly loving Jamaica, well, at least what I have experienced thus far. I’m just a little awestruck I guess. I never thought a place would have this kind of impact on me. I mean look at the beautiful surroundings. Look at the amazing blue water. I’m not so sure about the obvious poverty just on the outskirts of the lush hotel environments. But, I like it. I think this will be the best trip ever.

Toya: I do too. I’m so excited. We have a full itinerary for every day of the trip. If you want to back out of some of the activities, just let me know. I can’t believe we will be on this island of paradise for 10 full days! Thank you for talking me into this My. I love you girl!

Mya: *absentmindedly looking out the window* Yeah me too girl.

What is wrong with you Mya!!?? You are never twisted over a one-night stand. You are the queen of hit it and quit it. Don’t let this man get your nose opened like a 747. He was fine though, with a capital PH Fine!!! You won’t see him again…maybe not even when we return to the airport. Just charge it to the game and shake it off. Yeah…that’s right brush your shoulder off girl. I wonder why he gave me his phone. What am I supposed to do with it? What happens if somebody calls him? Should I answer it? I don’t even know if there is a girl in his life. I’m sure there is as blessed as that man is. I can’t wait to look at it more closely. I just don’t want Toya all in my business preaching at me and sh**. She doesn’t understand my need for plenty of male loving and a big variety box of it too.
