*Mya and Toya spend the entire day shopping for Toya’s wedding attire. The bride-to-be selects a lovely gown by Jamaican designer, Seidni. The designer promised to have the final alterations completed by Friday evening. The women shop for Mya’s maid of honor dress, and decide to use a local tuxedo rental for the men.

Fitz calls Toya periodically through the day to check in with her, to tell her that he loves her, and to tell her his progress on his wedding planning duties. Fitz promised to take care of the floral arrangements, the wedding location and the reception later.*

Toya: I can’t believe I’m doing this. My, I feel like I’m dreaming! I know that you didn’t agree with me marrying so soon. But, I am so honored that you decided to trust me and stand beside me. Fitz truly makes me happy My. He is nothing like Ian or any other man I have met.

Mya: I just pray that you are not rushing things Toya. I love you and I trust you. I wouldn’t miss your day to save my own life. T, I’m starting to get caught up with a man here too. I don’t think we are anywhere near talking marriage. But, I like him a lot.

Toya: Yeah. I know. Tran appears to like you a lot too. Did he tell you that I ran into him on the elevator yesterday carrying a large bouquet of handpicked tropical flowers? He blushed when I told him how beautiful they were. You two look great together. Hey we will all have to do dinner tonight or tomorrow night. We can make it an impromptu rehearsal dinner.

Mya: You ran into Tran yesterday with flowers? Oh! Yeah. Now, I remember. I told him about your wedding, and he is very happy for you both. He told me that he will escort me as well. I’m not to sure about dinner though. Let me check with him because he may have to work or something. T? I know I told you yesterday that I would not probe into your personal affairs again. But, um…did you have a connection to his brother at all? You two looked pretty um…um…cozy when Tran and I found you on the beach. It looked like we had interrupted something personal.

Toya: Great. I’m glad that he will be at the wedding. Let me know about the dinner plans. It doesn’t have to be anything formal. You know I have never had a problem telling you things Mya, but you came off really rude yesterday. It upset me, and I had to answer questions from Fitz when I got off the phone with you.

Anyway, Tradee and I seemed to hit it off at first. Then, when things started getting a little hot and heavy between us, he flipped on me. It scared me to death because I was suddenly afraid that he was going to rape me. Mya, he was all over me, clawing at my clothes, roughly slamming himself into me and kissing me like he wanted to draw blood. I pushed him away, and told him not to touch me again. I ran to find you, but I couldn’t find you in the dark. Rasta came up behind me and apologized for his behavior. I decided to walk with him to the beach, against my better judgement, because I didn’t want to ruin your night. I also wanted to believe in him. Something in his eyes told me he needed that more than anything.

After the sun came up, I spotted my baby, and Rasta was gone. There is something strange about him Mya. He was spellbound watching you and his brother in the lifeguard tower.

Mya: *Wipes at a thin layer of perspiration on her top lip from the heat radiating through her lower region. She was so excited and turned on by Toya’s description of Tradee’s brute force. She wanted to provoke him, and get the same raw energy from him.* Oh. Whew girl it’s hot as he** out here. Are we done shopping now? I can’t wait to get back to the hotel and catch up on my beauty sleep. I can’t seem to get enough sleep lately.

Toya: I can think of something else you can’t seem to get enough of, but that ain’t my business. Haa-haa! I need to see Fitz anyway, I miss him. Let’s go inside and get a smoothie, and I will call Fitz to have him drop you off at the hotel. Are you really okay with me moving to Fitz’s home later today? I hate feeling like I’m leaving you hanging.

Mya: Girl please. I’m good. I’m actually going to open the middle door so I have a mini-penthouse suite. Trad…um Tran and I will definitely make ourselves at home for the rest of my trip. Don’t worry about a thing. So, when are you going to break the news to Ian? I wouldn’t tell him right away T. He may try to destroy your things before you get home to collect them. You know I don’t mind going over to pack your stuff when I get back.

Toya: Thank you honey. I couldn’t ask you to do that. I honestly haven’t thought about telling Ian. I think he should die in anguish waiting on me to come home. I can just see him waiting at the airport, calling my phone over and over, yelling at the airline personnel, calling the authorities to report me missing. It would serve his a** right! I don’t really care about most of the things anymore Mya. I do want my framed prize winners though. I can replace the clothes, plus I don’t need the winter stuff anymore.

Fitz is taking me to the hospital in St. Ann today for both of us to be re-tested. We don’t have to do blood work for the marriage license, but he wants us to both know the other’s medical history. He said we will face all the tough obstacles together as a team from now on.

Oh! Did I tell you that I found the cutest little ring for his son that I want to use in the ceremony? I want to include him so he knows that I’m not taking away his dad. I think I will have it inscribed tomorrow. Fitz told me that Jr. has been taking thing so hard since his mother died of diabetes complications.

Mya: It sounds like you have it all figured out sweetie. I truly wish you the best, and I am happy for you. Hell, now I will have a reason to come back to paradise and all this wonderful d***! Haa-haa. I wish I could extend my trip, but I have about three modeling gigs lined up as soon as I get back.
