nothing like Jomo's girl, I am one who believes you better safe than sorry.......

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

mi nuh no at all, at one point mr jengles said he would have to send down money twice a month and i told him no, because of the fees, but he said no because his money is supporting the mother, the new pickney and her new man plus his pickney...so this way he feels his child would get at least a little somthing, my jaw dropped and this has been going on since mr jengles has been in ja. He tried getting the mother to give the little girl to his mother until we can file for her but the mother isn't going for that, since that is her only source of income.

:no::no::no::no: a nuh so it go........no mr.jengles a crazyiness dat......

...I think we support the mother, her sister, their kids AND the Granmudda

Don't even get me started on that support topic again today. I've just calmed down again.

I think stress and being tired got to me yesterday. I got home at 4:30 and fell into bed. Slept till 8. Took a shower and got back into bed till 6:30 this morning. Didn't eat, drink, talk to anyone............

Feel like doing it again today.

I personally amnot in that situation, infact I can hardly even support myself and my child. If I was still with Paul after he got here I would have to help support his mumma and him sistah dem , di pickneys and dem puppah too...dudge that bullet right there...............I have seen it over and over, and I don't understand WHY.

I know they are the fathers and I am glad they are more than willing to support their kids but come on now........why take the bottle from one pickney to feed the next ( don't get me wrong, support is support, but mek the mumma dem get involve too)......what is wrong with these ooman now a days...makes me sick..........

Nope....not stressed over this topic. There are so many others to stress over.

Just thought I was too worked up about the subject lately and not going to go there today.

I have to agree....there comes a time when you have to say I can't do it all. There is no reason EVERY single able bodied adult in the the Jamaican household cannot help support.

I feel 'ya. That's why I didn't post my blow-up with Damien over the weekend. Just thinking about supporting some members of his family wears me out. Until now, I didn't have problems helping his family out.

What concerns me is that Damien feels that he can't go home with taking thousands and thousands of dollars. He was suppose to go home in March but he feels that he cannot afford it. Although he's been saving since last year. I have access to his accounts so I know he has more than enough money to go home for a few days. Of course, he has my help but won't accept it. The airfare is reasonable and he doesn't need a hotel. So what's the problem?

I think his family put too much pressure on him. It really upsets me that they would rather take his money than for him to visit.

Hello ms Kim, how are you Tiddeh?

My dear, whenyour child is ill, take him to Kings County. They have the best pediatric department in Brooklyn. I use to work at Downstate and never took my children to anywhere else but Kings County. I hope he feels better. It's been really cold lately and the blood vessels in your nose are very fragile and will break from the harsh cold and heat that dries the nares. Try using a humidifier at nights to moisten the air and if and when he starts bleeding just apply gentle pressure to the bridge of his nose and that should help.

That's 10 cents. Give me my change back :yes::lol::lol:

Good Advice!! I get nose bleeds during the dry time too. I purchased a humidifier and it has a thermostat that measures the humidity in the air. I turn it on every night in my bedroom once the level gets below 70% humidity. It workd wonders. Get the hot air humidifer not the cold air one. Its heats the water up nice and hot and then forces it into the air. Feels like JA in my room at night.
