THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." - Mother Theresa

Hey Jawi - How is your back doing? Are you feeling better since the last shot? (L)

I'm feeling a whole lot better. Thanks for asking. It took roughly about two weeks for my shoulder to stop hurting after the shot. I still have some pain every now and then, but not everyday. Thanks be to GOD!!!!

Missed this earlier. So glad that it is getting better for you and the pain isn't as constant! Thank God (L)

How come the hubbies get so lucky today?!?

All I am doing is surfing the net and waiting for the phone to ring...which it hardly has this afternoon. These people know there isn't work so why can't I just leave?

Toya and Mya drive slowly down the road from the hospital. Toya was terrified even though Fitz allowed her to practice on deserted streets, or at night when they were headed home. Mya thought it was hilarious, and wondered what all the fuss was about. The best friends stop off at a small restaurant to get breakfast, then they head to the wedding site.

Mya: Wow! Fitz’s friends and family have already done so much! We won’t have to do much at all except to tell them how you want the chairs and flowers arranged. This is a beautiful place Toya. I am so happy for you. I may use this exact spot for my wedding too.

Toya: I didn’t think they would do as much as they have done. The grounds are immaculate. Look, they got rid of all the weeds and stuff around the church. The building almost sparkles it’s so clean now. My girl, I’m so freaking happy that it doesn’t make sense. It still feels so surreal, like at any moment I will wake up and be back in bed with Ian.

Mya: We are almost not needed here. I am loving what Fitz’s cousins are doing with the set-up too. You have to have your photographer get some black and whites of you guys inside the church building. I would be honored if you allowed me to stage some of the shots, and I could use your camera. You haven’t talked about Ian at all since the first day of the trip. What made you bring him up? Damn!

Toya: I would love for you to take the black and whites My. I didn’t want to put too many responsibilites on you because I’m going to really need you tomorrow. I just know that I am going to be a weepy nervous wreck. Honestly, I haven’t thought of Ian until now. Do you think I should have called him and told him that it was over? Or, maybe, I could have sent him a Dear Ian e-mail at least.

Mya: Girl, please. Men do it to women all the time, just up and leave I mean. Don’t stress over his sorry a** now! You are going to be a beautiful bride. What time are your hair and nail appointments? I want you to stop worrying over the wedding details, and just take some time to get pampered.

Toya: Well, I have an appointment for my nails later today. My hair appointment is at 6 AM tomorrow morning. I was hoping that you could do my make-up afterwards. The wedding starts promptly at 10:00 AM, at least that’s the plan. We need to go and pick up our dresses today too. The shop owner said that the designer can make any final alterations when we get there. Okay, let’s get started.

Mya and Toya join Fitz’s cousins and they decide on how they want the final set up to look. Toya decides that she wants the actual wedding to take place on the beachfront. However, she will use the entire walking path to make her way to the altar. They are soon shooed away by Toya’s new family, and told to go and relax in preparation of her big day.

Toya reluctantly leaves the wedding site with Mya. They head to the bridal boutique to pick up their dresses. Toya’s designer gown is a perfect fit and absolutely stunning. It looks like the designer custom designed the dress with only her in mind. Mya tries on her dress, and gasps.
