I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?"

"You never really know a man until you have divorced him."-Zsa Zsa Gabor

"When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife." Deuteronomy 24:1-2

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." - Helen Keller

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?" - Mary Manin Morrissey

Busy working is an understatement I tell yuh! I work with a couple of Scrooges...they will be working on Christmas Day because "it is just another day and work will still be here to be done":wacko: Well you couldn't pay me enough to be here and not with my family so do what you want to do but I won't be here

Then what do they do...they schedule a HUGE audit for the 26-28th *biglongduttykissteet* So not only will we be working but we will be working hard and long. I tell you these people have no idea the meaning of Christmas and the holiday season.

So sorry to hear, for the first time in 4 years they have given us the day before Christams off, that was a fuss.

Ok so last night as I was trying not to smote my child because he didn't want to do his homework. mr jengles remarked how children up here get paid more attention. He said in JA kids come home from school and "fling dem bag in dem yard and dem gone" he says because we up here stay indoors more we pay more attention to our children. Now I don't think this is a JA thing but a carribean island thing and i'm asking because I never go a school in the west indies, but no from visting when younger. Mi gone all bout the place...

Now not trying to say kids are neglected or anything like dat,

he says our kids get into less trouble that way or have less opportunity for trouble.

Happy Hump Day errybody

Bway mi pickney a tek afta him fadda an him naah even bawn yet. So wi go a doctor pon Monday an still nuttin... mi haffi tek di non stress test tomorrow an if him naah bawn by Sunday then I call on Monday for starting induction *cha*. Mi ready like freddy fram last month.

stubborn is an understatement :) ...him a test u stamina :)

You know how much extra it cost if you have to stay in the hospital longer for induction of labor? I'd have to wait to dilate OR for them to C-section me AND THEN recover...*langduttykissteet* wha dem tink - a wan rhaatid money tree grow inna mi yaad? I am at my wits end with baby boy. I bought castor oil but am scared to death to drink it. Him head get wash an dat naah wuk eidda

my son was induced, and I didn't have to stay in longer. I was told 12 hours for me to dialate and then they would give me the other drug to induce the contractions. but he didn't follow the rules. He was born 7 hours later. whatever drug they give u makes your contractions come harder so they baby is born sooner.

Pitocin.......I had that too, after being late the little punk decided that even when the labor started he was not ready yet.

That Chinese intern and the other doctors sure learned a few words of Patoise that night-day

Afternoon all! I am here...finally  Gonna go catch up as best I can before those bosses evil eyes return

Hope you all are doing ok!

I still need to get my mom a digital camera from Ebay, but now its so late that it won't get to me in time!

I just went shopping for my Angel Tree child and Lawd Gawd! mi buy hup ah whole heap ah tings! I haven't shopped for a 1 year old in a long time and now that my clock is ticking and I am in baby fever mind I must've wanted to buy everything. I had a little boy but there were so many little girl things. I already know its gonna be obnoxious when I have my kids. They gonna be some spoiled likkle pickney!

 I did the exact same with my Angel Tree baby  I just kept buying and buying...I couldn't help it...those clothes and toys are just too cute for little kids :)

Jengles~ That corporate holiday thing did too funny! I hate all the PC stuff as well...in our effort not to offend anyone we offend everyone.

HA HA! That is so TRUE!!! Thats what we started doing in the office. We started talking all obnoxious and openly about race and religion not caring who was offended. It was equal opportunity offensiveness going on. No matter if you were Black, White, Asian, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, we let it out! Then averybody just had to laugh about it and we were like "isn't racism fun". LOL

Some women just don't dilate. Two friends of mine had their kids earlier in the year and were in the hospital for days on pitocin and finally were given C-sections. One of the girls was on pitocin for about 4 days (which I don't agree with at all). I'm just trying to keep all possibilities in mind so if things don't go the way I'd like (which is as drug free as possible for as long as I can) it won't be such a big let down.

You know I am hoping and praying that you get to have the birth experience you have been dreaming of. Glad to hear that you are at least open to the idea of it not happening the way you want. 4 days on Pitocin?! That isn't right at all

No way at all...........4 days that is too much
