STILL no word from Montreal. Looking at the timelines here, there hasn't been a Packet 4/interview date issued from Montreal since April 4. I emailed them last week asking what the status was. Their answer was:

Your name is presently on a waiting list to be scheduled. We will advise you by mail of the appointment date or you may email end of next week to see if there is a scheduled date.

I emailed them again today, and got exactly the same reply: "Ask again next week."

Why is it that for EVERY SINGLE STAGE of this process, our application has been at the "slow" end of the scale? Looking at the timelines, each stage takes between X and Y days - and ours is always the "Y".

*sigh*

OK, vent mode off. I decided seeing as there is no longer snow outside, it was time to change my "Holly and Scott in snowy Canada Winter Wonderland" picture and put something new up instead.

When did the snow go away there? Recently?

Just wondering what's going on back home ;)

I emailed them back, asking if they had any idea when I might expect an interview date. I was as polite as I possibly could be. :) We'll see if I get an answer other than the boilerplate "sorry, check in again next week" this time.

Based on average processing times that were being shown back when we filed our I-129F, we figured I would be in the US a month ago. :(

dunno, it never has been that quick since I have been tracking Montreal (August 2004). Although, I did receive my interview date about a month after leaving the NVC. But things have changed at Montreal since then (getting visas next day, the DCF option, etc).

Best wishes to all those waiting! :)
