Greetings to all and luck in getting to the goal !!!! :help:

We have been approved on the i-129f and i-130 on 10 Sept 2007. 5 weeks later, NVC says they still have not recieved the approved petition.

I called NVC and they say it can take up to 90 days and to be patient.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to see if USCIS still has it and why it has not been sent after 5 weeks.

Is this a normal time frame ? My (L) wife (L) is from Colombia and I filed a k-3 visa for her.

Its so hard waiting, not knowing why it is taking so long for the USCIS to send the approved petition to NVC.

Any advice or help from your experiences would be greatly appreciated !!!!

THANK-YOU FOR READING MY POST :innocent:

In last two months CSC send papers to NVC with big delays. Five or six weeks become normal. Our was approved on 15 August and NVC received it on 28 September. I know how difficult is to wait for this but it is time for your papers to be received. Wish you luck

I am in the exact same boat. My Wife's NOA2 129F was on Sep 10 and still nothing from the NVC. This is my 2nd attempt at getting her a visa. I tried last year and it was soo fast. Within 3 months of first applying she already had an interview. Although she had to wait 9 months after that for the interview just to be rejected and I had to start all over again. This is utterly ridiculous.

Hi Brian & Yenys,

WOW....I have been watching you guys for over a month now...and this comes as a shocker to me!!! I was expecting you to post an interview date soon!!!! According to the "guides" and the flowchart...this is what it says:

*Two weeks after you receive the NOA2 you can contact the NVC to see if they have received your approved I-129F. You can contact them at

I would just do your best to forget about the whole process for about another week and then call NVC. NVC should at least have it in their hands by then. And who knows, maybe you'll be surprised and NVC will have already sent it on.

It's a difficult process, but the more patience you can force yourself to have, the easier it is.

Brian,

How did you get ahold of the NVC supervisor? I've been waiting since June of 06. If they lost my case. I'll flip.
