I was watching the news this morning and will be praying for everyone in the area. It's so sad that so many people are losing their homes. I was thinking that though it is bad at least it isn't people who are very poor and won't be able to rebuild after such a tragedy that are losing their homes. Does that sound bad? I dunno I just thought at least it's people who can afford to rebuild.

It doesn't sound bad at all, I'm with ya on this one. Most of these people are filthy rich and they can afford a new home. I don't feel bad one bit as long as no one is hurt or dead from them.

Not everyone affected is a rich celebrity - aside from Malibu, these areas are middle class

thank you. And our friends in Malibu are not rich celebrities either, but they had to be evacuated. The fire and smoke are so close to their house it can literally lick their walls if it wants to

You guys need to read the news, it is NOT all rich people, there are many middle class or lower middle class. How cruel that it's OK cuz they may or may not have $$. 1200 people have lost their HOMES & all their belongings - some because of arson. Thousands of homes are threatened, and hundreds are injured in 16 separate fires. It's hell here & the fires are not expected to be contained until next week!!!

That is NOT OK, for ANYONE. :angry:

Charles, you obviously know no boundaries & for that I pity you. Sad that you have to take a tragic thread about a state of emergency in our hometowns - along with loss of 1200+ homes, national forests, etc - & make it a political joke.
