The cryin is only heard when the media sees fit! No nose bleeds, coughing is a given! This happens every year to us.

Help yourself and look to nobody for help! Yeah I gotta frickin headache too! Take an aspirin an GO FRICKIN HELP!

Grab a mask for your face! I have lived through three months of smoke laiden skies, during the summer! with ash falling like snow from the clouds. Stand -up. Get off your whining a$$ throne.

umm, it is not the fires themselves that are causing the headaches and the nosebleeds but the smoke and the lack of moisture in the air... if you are not here you don't know what it is like

there are actually 10 to 12 major fires going on now...

and in San Diego about 1000 or more homes have been lost...

my hubby says he doesn't remember a fire being this bad before....

Being the CURE is always better than being the symptom!

Pity the fool that beats up on the affected ones. Damn, some people just don't get it. From the bleacher seats, I have empathy for those affected by this tragic fire situation.

Firefighters don't want untrained civilians getting in the way, even if they are trying to "help." Rescuing someone who has gotten them self trapped in a fire when they should have been staying away from it takes time and resources away from fighting the fire.

Making sanwiches,bringing cold water. Offering a place to sleep isnt gettin in the way. Hiding, and asking why? is the pain in the ###. Sitting in the living room and bitchin is always helpful.After all its easier than helping.

how do you know what people have planned or not??... like I mentioned people in this thread are just having a discussion on what they are experiencing...

most of us are out of harms way... but we are still experiencing some of the side effects from these fires....
