07-16-2007 NOA1 notice date (would have been sooner, but was forwarded to CSC)

05-13-2008 APPROVED (only took 313 days)

05-21-2008 Received at NVC

06-05-2008 Left NVC

06-13-2008 Packet 3.5 received by fiance

DO you guys know if I can go ahead and get the marriage license before he gets here?

For what I know both of you need to go get the marriage license. On which State are you getting married? I'd do some googling of the requirements for getting a marriage license in your State.

08.08.2011- NOA Received

08.19.2011 - Biometrics Letter Received

09.12.2011 - Biometrics Appointment

01.27.2012 - Card production ordered

02.01.2012 - 10 year GC Received

07.25.2021 - N400 filed online

08.09.2021- Biometrics re-use notice

04.18.2022- Interview done at Minneapolis USCIS Local Office   ✔️ Received N-652 "Congratulations your application has been recommended for approval" during the interview.

05.19.2022- Oath Ceremony in MN

You may want to check on the requirements in your state. I know that some require that both the bride and groom be present.

My friend just got married and only one person had to be present. I just want to be prepared. Plus im still confused about whether he will need a new SS number. He use to live here in the States 2 yrs ago and had one. Anyone know?

I live in Maryland

If he has an SSN he does not need another one, he just uses the one he had when he was here.

You may want to check the website for your county clerks office to see if both you and him need to be there together to apply. Different counties may have different rules.

K3 VISA APPROVED: 03/05/08

POE: LAX on 03/10/08; Wife was asked just a few basic questions.

AOS Interview Scheduled for: 08/29/2008 APPROVED

GCard rec'vd: 09/09/08. Yay.... Done with USCIS until lifting conditions :-)
