I hate 95% of most purses in the stores....I'm just picky....I walk into the department and a purse calls to me from a far....i make a line straight to it...and it is always, never fail, a Kenneth Cole.

I always find great Kenneth Cole purses at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for a fraction of the cost, you should check it out.

It's funny that you are all talking about purses today. My friend that was staying with me this weekend had the most beautiful "weekend" bag that I've ever seen. It was RED in like a crocodile pattern. MY weakness is RED purses and RED shoes. My friend has long envied this really nice red purse that I brought back from one of my trips to Morocco. Well, I joked that I would trade my red bag for her red bag and she was like....DONE!

The funny thing is that I don't go on alot of weekend trips but I REALLY like the bag. I think it was a good barter.

I love red shoes too, as a matter of fact....I got some new ones this weekend!

I would love to find some pretty red ones for the fall. I would LOVE to find some red boots! Add in a nice heel and I might as well stick a bumper sticker that says "HO" on my fanny!!!!

I would wear them to church just to be devilish!!!!!!!

I have really just started my love for purses when I went to my first purse party, yeah the knock off's. I have really nice purses and my friends that all have the real one's have really liked mine and after I invited her to my purse party she went crazy. Needless to say I got a lot of free purses just from all of her friends buying at the parties. I really don't care the maker or whatever I just liek the one's I like and as long as they have a matching wallet I am good to go.

Shoes well I guess I am the same way. I don't really care the maker as long as they are different. I like finding very unique sandles and flip flops. My husband couldn't bleieve that I have so many shoes but he has almost tripled his shoe supply. Boots I usually get a couple black pairs and one brown a year, who knows this year I might be different and get some red one's.

Jackie I am so glad that you are doing much better you are an inspiration and have always been to me. Thanks for being you and sharing your highs and lows.

I went shopping yesterday and along with my new red shoes I got this really cute brown suede belt by Nine West for 99 cents. I'm so proud of it.

I did that whole "purse party" think years ago. I won't buy them anymore because to be quite honest they aren't cheap! I'd rather save up and buy the real thing.

As far as shoe makes go, for me its not so much about the brand but the comfort I have from certain brands. Most of my shoes are by Nine West because they fit me well and are comfortable. Other faves are Joey O, White house Black Market shoes, Bebe, and Stuart Weitzman, sp?

At least that's the plus side to not having a job and just being a college student.

Woohoo LaL. I'm with you on that. Just got out of a meeting with the doc I work for. He knows I want to come back to work my regular hours but physically cannot (due to back surgery) so he offered me salary and I can come and go as I please and even work from home, as long as the work is getting done. Now do decide how much I want to commute with hubby and how much I want to make the 40 second commute to the tea kettle!!

All of my purses are Vera Bradley. Once I got the first one a few years ago I was hooked. I absolutely love how they have just the right number of pockets in them in just the right places and that you can throw them in the wash when they get dirty!

Whew I just got done with my cooking midterms.

We had a bad fire here this summer that lasted about 2 months and it's out now but this weekend it was so windy that all of the ash that had settled took to the streets and it blew all over the place. Everything is dirty now! My poor car.

Ugh, I dislocated my knee playing college soccer. NOT FUN. *Luckily* mine popped back into place almost as soon as it popped out, but it still killed. I was in rehab for the rest of the season... good luck!

No Orange County here.....not in danger of the fires but the smoke and ash are terrible and like I said the power outage.
