After looking at RandyandRina's timeline, I am still hoping for a December interview date. But I won't hold my breath while waiting. :huh:

If you are going for the CR1 route, you might want to check out the NVC forum. I used James Shortcut and it saved me at least 4-6 weeks of waiting time. Here is the link. (the latest version 2.0 is on pages 10 and 11)

We went the K3 route before the price increase and before CR1s started getting approved as fast or faster than K3s. The backlog of CSC getting petitions to NVC and NVC receipting them is the only wait now.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

even if you dont get a sked now for december, somehow you still have the chance to get dec sked coz they will give new slots during that month so good luck and be prepare :thumbs:

:thumbs::thumbs: CONGRATS AND GOODLUCK..we do have same month of filling application.The thing is ours was forwarded to california service center. So sad until now we got no approval yet! More than 4months na since they recieved our papers. :crying::crying::crying:CSC sooo unfair! Anyways, Wish u luck on your interview,put some cents in your right shoe according to my grandmom it works hehehehe!

Keep the faith Shallan. I was in the grips of the CSC for almost EIGHT months for my K3. Even after approval they decided to "hang on " to the petition for a few more weeks before they decided to send it off to the NVC. Once it made it to the NVC it was sent off to Manila in 2 days.

What's taking them so long to forward our case to manila?! :angry: I've been trying to be more patient on this final step but this waiting is really killing me! I've seen a number VJers here that had their case completed mid november but none was forwarded yet, im talking about IR1/CR1. well, its gonna be november in 2 days so we all have to be more patient, as if we have other choice. winter is coming and the nights are longer and its getting colder and colder here in San Francisco, hope all of us will have our loved ones right next to us this holiday season and that will happen only when thay release the December interview sched! Goodluck everyone and keep us all updated!

EDP333 it looks like we are about a month behind you. Please keep us updated on your timeline if you dont mind, we would really appreciate it. We are trying to plan my vacation so that I can be there with her(my wife) to go through the the whole process together........medical,interview,etc....

We are going the K3 route also.

When we first filed in MAY we were hoping for a December interview, but it looks like we might have to wait until February 08.

Good luck and please keep us posted.

I will keep a close eye on this thread to see how long it is taking everyone.
