DECEMBER interview at US Embassy Manila

My case was completed october 12, 2007. until now, i am not given interview date. iand still waiting. im pretty sure that i will not be included anymore this coming November. It has been discussed here that normally scheduling are done every second week of the month. i justed wanted to know how many, if any, in VJ are already scheduled for December interview.

Ours was completed October 17, 2007. My husband called the NVC and he was told by the operator to call up again by the 3rd week of November, cos we are most likely be scheduled for a December interview.

oh.... if its on the 3rd week of november, chances are the interview date would be on the 3rd week of december too. i really hope we will have an early december interview date.

We got approved on the Oct. 11th, our case was sent to the embassy on the 19th so I'm expecting an interview in December...

Our case was completed October 19th, I am also hoping for an early december interview, so we wont know our sched until mid november?! that means more weeks of waiting! well atleast we will have our loved ones with us on christmas... goodluck everyone!

Its the Manila US Embassy who set the interview date and its takes some time. The USEmbassy will send you a letter that they receive your approved petition from NVC and they will assign you a case number (MNLxxxxxxxx). With that case number you can check you interview schedule online http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html. I hope that you can get a December Interview. Good luck!

It was one year ago on Oct 17th that I found out my wifes Dec. interview date. hopefully the dates are released by now. best of luck to all waiting for a Dec interview date.

Anybody here who had their case forwarded to US Embassy in manila already? or got their definite interview date? I called NVC today and the operator just read her response and did not give me any helpful info, she even said to call back 3rd week of november, that is a long wait! i will try to call DOS sometime this week hoping to get a better response.. this is a never ending wait, glad we are all in the final steps!

NVC probably has the interview dates but withholding that information until the 2nd or 3rd week of November. But that's just my speculation. Yes you are right, it's a long wait.

If you are going for the CR1 route, you might want to check out the NVC forum. I used James Shortcut and it saved me at least 4-6 weeks of waiting time. Here is the link. (the latest version 2.0 is on pages 10 and 11)
